A totally uncaring return policy. I received a very expensive mouse for Christmas. It was purchased by my wife, who is not especially computer-savvy, in early December. The mouse was incompatible with my computer, but MacMall refused a return due to their 15-day return policy (which my wife found later in fine, gray print on the bottom of their website). This was a Christmas present!!! Did they expect the gift to be opened and tested BEFORE the holiday? The item was never even opened and still in its pristine original packaging, yet their telephone representative absolutely refused to consider the return. Afterward, they wouldn't even respond to my emailings asking for consideration. I will never again look to MacMall as a source for my needs and will gladly pay more simply to deal with someone else. Buyer beware!

It was quick and painless to order via macmall.com and I paid extra to get the item the next day, and the item arrived exactly on time as mentioned on the tracking invoice (via fedex). It sure beats shopping at the regular stores (whom always claim "out of stock" for many Apple products) and is convenient for not having to deal with the holiday mob scene!

My only comment for improvement would be to highlight in BIG BOLD type the fact that the printer did not come with a cable from the printer to the computer. It took me another week after receiving my order to be able to get to Best Buy to buy the cord. They lost the sale and it was an inconvenience on my end.

Ordering was easy. Prices are high, but rebates bring them in line. Rebates are such a pain, though. Would prefer instant rebates. Order tracking was difficult. They pretended to ship it a full day before they actually had UPS pick it up, so their link to product tracking from UPS did not work. Would prefer some honesty here. They also don't tell customers the tracking numbers, just a link to the tracking info. I would prefer to know the tracking numbers so I can track all my packages from UPS at the same time. Having the tracking numbers also allows customers the chance to tell the carriers of any special delivery instructions, like deliver it next door, send it to the office,etc. Without the numbers, the carriers are unable to help us.

Terrible Company!!! Purchased an iPod from them, paid extra for 2-day shipping. The item arrived late, and I had already bought another one. I called to get a return authorization, and was informed that "we don't take Apple products back." NO WHERE ON THEIR CATALOG OR WEBSITE WAS THIS POLICY NOTED. They are misleading and dishonest about their policies; this no-return policy should be in BOLD LETTERS on the catalog page. In addition, I was treated rudely on the telephone, and they would not transfer me to speak with a supervisor. I have been doing business with this company for many years -- NEVER AGAIN!!! I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Make sure you know their return policy before ordering with them.

It was very good. The products were shipped carefully packaged and I got them 5 days after placing my online order (I used the basic ground shipping). I think the Mac Mall has competative pricing on its mac items/hardware. The only suggestion I have to shoppers, is to read the rebates carefully, because you have to fullfill the criteria exactly to be eligible for the rebates. I've sent in the rebate forms about 2 weeks ago. I haven't gotten any rebate checks back yet.

I got a great price on some peripherals and media, but I wish that they had been more upfront about the rebates. I had to call them after I received my goods, and then had to print the forms up myself.
Also, I bought from *Mac*Mall, and the silly little mouse that they sent me wasn't even Mac-compatible. I wish they had said that on their site, because I would have saved myself a hassle and not bought it.

The information on the website was not accurate. I purchased Quicken. When I received the computer, I found out that it was already equipped with Quicken. They charged me a re-stocking fee to return a product that I did not need, and which I only purchased because their on-line information was incomplete.

I ordered a product online at 7:20pm with overnight delivery. In the past, I have been able to order much later than this and still have the product delivered the next day. There was no tracking number for the shipping with my order status, but I had to assume that all is well. The next day, the order did not arrive, and upon calling MacMall, I found out that 7:00pm is the cutoff for same-day shipping. It would be extremely helpful for this information to be included somewhere on the online order page. I would have gone to CompUSA and picked up the product locally if I'd known it wasn't going to ship same-day. Small issue, big frustration.
Otherwise, I do much of my purchasing through MacMall, and have had many great purchases. I just wish the online order form was more clear about shipping dates...
