Received luggage. Took to Europe where I found it was defective and the handle would not close. Everything had to be taken out of suitcase in order to reach inside handle to push down. They will not refund shipping charge of $22. They keep asking why did I take the defective luggage on a trip. I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS DEFECTIVE UNTIL AFTER ARRIVING IN EUROPE!!! CAUSING MUCH INCONVENIENCE!!How would I know it's defective until I use it and that's on the trip. Very disappointed that they refuse refund for shipping charges.

Instead of refunding my shipping charges they have chose to spend hours disputing it. I filed a claim with BBB of NJ and they took the time to write why they would not refund my shipping charge. Again they blamed me for taking the luggage on a trip - they keep saying I knew it was defective when I took it. I did not realize it was defective (actually my husband didn't) until he was in Europe on business and had a number of stops. Instead of being able to roll it he had to make sure he didn't pull the handle or if he did he would have to open the suitcase, remove everything and unzip the inside the fix it. He is the one who should be reimbursed for his inconvenienced. The $22 is not the point - the point is he was inconvenienced and now they are blaming us. Their quality control is terrible, their customer service is terrible and instead of wasting their time arguing why not give in and do what is right. The amount of time used to dispute this far exceeds the amount in dispute - it cost them that and more to dispute my claim.
