Linen Source offers very good products. Depending on your area it maybe the only place to get quality linens..problem comes from the management. There is constant turnover. People are fired for trumped up reasons and arent paid nearly what they claim when hired. The only motive in every phone call is to UPSELL you more than what you want to order..thats how the company makes their money. If the Employee doesnt they dont stay like a typical telemarketing scheme. The Customer Service are forced to take at least 10 to 12 calls and hour which makes it very difficult to resolve all issues and some of course get lost in the shuffle..and along with the rest of companies Linen Source outsourced to Manila and they cant understand what you are saying....Until the economy hit bottom Linen Source hired High School students..

Wish I had read the reviews first. I ordered a simple set of curtains. They came and the two panels were different lengths (by 1 1/2 inches). Wrote to customer service (with a guarantee of a 24 hour response time). Well...no...not realy. Still not resolved 3 weeks later - they just keep asking for more information. Every time they answer - they mark the "issue" as resolved. Then I open "another issue". I sent pictures for heavens sake - they are very different lengths. Find another vendor for linens. Really. Not worth the hassle.

I have no one to blame but myself. I not only read all the negative reviews before placing an on-line order, but I had even ordered from them 3 years ago & had trouble then! I used to think their problem was poorly programmed web check-out forms, but I realize now it's a deliberate scam. They quote one price, even send an e-mail confirming that price, then they charge a higher price. Last time, I had to repeatedly demand a refund & finally threaten to get the credit card company involved. That worked, & I got my refund. Fast forward to now. Against my better judgement, I ordered from them again, and they pulled the same scam on me again! I haven't even received my merchandise yet, & already I see I've been overcharged. This time, I won't waste time trying to contact them. I will send exactly one e-mail, giving them 3 days to respond. Then I will put the amount in dispute with my credit card company.

I made a very large order from Linen Source, and when it arrived one of the pillow shams I ordered was missing. I emailed this problem as directed, and received a form letter that was based on the assumption that I had not received one of the two boxes my order was shipped in, and gave me a tracking number. This was even though I had clearly explained the problem in my email. I emailed them again, and now, almost two weeks later, I have not received a reply. I then called the 800 number, and managed to navigate the phone tree to talk to a person. After explaining my problem, I was cut off. I called back, explained again, and was cut off again. I finally gave up, and reordered the pillow sham, paying for it again. I told the woman taking my order what had happened, and asked to speak to a supervisor. She said she did not see any on the floor. I still have not received my replacement pillow sham.

Bought a sheet set online with a "Free Shipping" ad. Not only was I charged shipping, but I was also charged an extra 10.00 for "extra weight". Calls were never answered as promised. The email link to customer service is a joke. Sent several emails...none were answered. This company is a scam as far as I am concerned.

Never received order, but still charged. Got an unmarked box with a bunch of "stuff" that didn't even come close to what I had ordered - no invoice, nothing. Several attempts to reach them by phone were unsuccessful - on hold for up to 30 minutes at a time. When finally reached, customer rep did nothing to solve problem - just left me on hold some more to check with higher ups. Several e-mails were not responded too. Finally had to go through credit card company to enter dispute and receive credit.

Avoid these shady characters. I ordered on the Mothers Day Sale and was promised an additional 20% discount. Several phone calls and many e-mails produced no results. I was always denied the promised discount. I refused shipment and will have to stop credit card purchase. These people are liars and thieves. They WILL NOT LISTEN! Absolutely the worst I've ever seen.

THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! They sent me the wrong order twice. I ordered 4 shams and the contents of the plastic bags they came in were marked as being the shams I ordered but the contents were wrong. They promised to send me a free UPS return label to return the second wrong order but I never received it. You cannot get through to customer service without going through annoying menus and waiting 45 minutes and then you get disconnected or a message "all circuits are busy...call again". THEY ARE HORRIBLE. I have never, ever had an experience like the one I am having with Linensource. I can't believe they are even in business. Do not shop there. They are fine with taking your order but after that they couldn't care less. They basically don't know what they are doing. Terrible, horrible experience.

Long story short...
I ordered two pillow shams at $19 ea (on sale) One of the two arrived damaged, so I sent it back to exchange it. They credited my card $21.13 and then charged me $60 for the new one (exact same item)...$49 for the sham + tax + shipping They charged me full price.....not the sale price. So I called customer service to get my money back. They agreed to give me back my money...but not the correct amount, because apparently none of the customer service representatives can do simple math. They told me I should see the refund in 7 to 10 business days. I've now called customer service 5 times, it's been over a month, and I still have not received any money back. Every time I call, I get told it's "in process" and I should get the money in 7 to 10 business days... Well, obviously that didn't happen, 7 to 10 business days have come and gone at least 5 times now, so I've reported them to the BBB. |

I ordered a comforter set from LinenSource 7 business days ago (11 actual days). It was listed as in stock and still had not shipped. When I called to inquire they said they were doing a manual inventory and it may ship in the next day or 3. She was quite rude in her tone, as well. I'll post an update when (assuming I do) I get it.
Update - received the products 3 days after my last post. The colors were no where near the colors in the catalog or online but I did like them and will keep the items. Good thing I didn't paint the room first! |

I placed an order with this company on 01/12/07 through Shop.com. and the total price came to $112.00 when I placed the order. I even received a confirmation via email for that amount. Four days later, I get an email from Linen Source saying my total was $119.00...which I never agreed to. They added a $7.00 credit card charge for shipping, without my knowing or authorizing.
I immediately phoned customer service and sent several emails. To my surprise, they simply would not correct the problem, and refused to take the $7.00 unauthorized charge off my credit card. I honestly have never come across a company like this in my lifetime. I told them to cancel the order, and inquired as to how many other people they have done this to? Simply added charges that the buyer was not aware of when they placed the order. After reading other reviewer complaints, I see that this company has a habit of bad customer service and "additional charges." I am going to be calling Consumer Affairs and report Fraud on this one. I was wary about ordering from Linen Source after reading the reviews on Epinions. I was more than pleased when my order showed up very quickly without a hitch. I am very pleased with my purchase and would use Linen Source again. The quality of the comforter, bed skirt and shams is very nice. The king-sized comforter is generous, so I don't have to worry about it being too short. The William Morris-inspired pattern is just what I wanted: pretty without being too fussy, and it goes nicely with our mission-style furniture. Also, it is unique. I've been looking for well over a year for a comforter set for my bedroom and was very dissatisfied with the same old offerings in local bedding and department stores.
Most prior complaints that I read on Epinions were about customer service. I cannot comment about dealing directly with a person, as my order was perfect and on time. |

Linen Source Online has horrible customer service. The same person answered the phone two times in a row and told me I couldn't wait for someone to help me and that I would be called back. I said I wouldn't be home and needed to talk now about my account. They kept telling me to use the email but the email doesn't work. I ordered some sheets in June 2006 and didn't get the last of the order until October!! They have a customer unfriendly website.When attempting to write a message to them, email will not process and says I "should only use alphabetic or numeric symbols in my message". Their order history section is confusing and is not user interactive. Their products are very nice but some things seem like they literally are coming from another country (which they probably are) and take a long time to ship.

What an awful experience - and it is not over yet! I ordered a wood frame bed in mid-September. This item comes from a third vendor and comes in three packages. One of the packages was for a different size bed so I requested a replacement. The replacement came and is defective, with a crack up one leg through the entire piece of wood. I will now begin the tedious process of trying to get a refund. To send an email via their website, which by the way, is repeatedly encouraged in monotonous telephone recordings when calling customer service, does not work. I tried with a PC using IE, and a Mac using both Safari and Firefox. I urge anyone considering using linensource.com to run an ultramarathon instead of ordering! It will be faster and less painful!

My experience with Linensource was outstanding. I placed an order and received my package five days later, much faster than the 7-10 days I was quoted on the phone. When I called to ask a question about the size of the queen pillow cases, a rep came on the phone and was quick to answer all of my questions. I was very pleased and my merchandise was of very high quality.

Shabby customer service. Of four items ordered, only three shipped, although the packing slip said that all items were included in the shipment. Called Customer Service; they agreed to ship the missing item, which they did quite promptly, and credit and rebill. However, they did not credit, and proceeded to charge me again for the item, plus tax plus shipping and handling! Called Customer Service again. They agreed to process a credit for the item, tax, s&h. After a full week, I did receive the credit, but not for the full amount due.
On the plus side, the items I ordered meet my satisfaction and look as they did in the catalog. |

I ordered a duvet from them and was notified that it was on backorder. I was content to wait and, after a month and a half, finally received two emails from LinenSource stating my duvet cover had shipped. After two weeks and still no duvet I called them -- only to discover that they hadn't shipped the duvet, HAD charged my credit card and, they would never get the duvet in stock again. They only credited my account back because I called, otherwise who knows if and when it would have been discovered by them. I was offered no apology for their mistake -- instead, I got an email offering me a duvet I didn't want for a "reduced shipping charge." Very shabby.

I found the sheets/duvets I was looking for on sale at LinenSource. The prices were good and I placed my order. The email confirmation stated that I would receive my order from UPS in 7-10 days and gave me an expected delivery date. However, my order was received a week later than expected. I noticed that it took LinenSource a week simply to process my order. It arrived 7-10 days later after the processing. I was very satisfied with the items, so I placed an additional order. Once again, I'm waiting for LinenSource to tell me that the item has been shipped. There is no way possible that my order will be received by their expected delivery date, when it has yet to be shipped out.

I have purchased 2 flannel fitted sheets from Linensource that are made with elastic only in the corners instead of all the way around the sheet. In addition, these sheets are made to fit 15" mattresses, and they will fall off anything smaller. Customer service is telling me that this is my tough luck since I have washed the sheets. The fitted flannel sheets are faulty.
