I placed an order with linensource.com on Nov. 28, 2002. As of 1/9/03 I still had not received the item I had ordered. When I placed the order the email confirmation stated that the item would be shipped in 7 to 10 days. After more than 2 weeks I contacted customer service because the item still had not shipped. Customer service told me that my item was a drop ship item and would take 4 to 6 weeks to ship. It would have been nice to know that from the start. Also they charged my credit card long before my order was shipped.

1/10/03 I have again contacted linensource about my order and found out that it has NOT been shipped despite what the order status on their webpage said. Customer service was now telling me that my order would be shipped in 1-3 days and I would receive it in 1 or 2 more weeks. At least this time they were telling me the truth, it did show up almost 2 weeks later.

I understand that retailers can have problems with their vendors, but those retailers can at least be straight with their customers and give them a realistic idea of when to expect their orders. Don't tell me 7 to 10 days when that particular vendor usually takes a lot longer to drop ship orders.

Oh, and to top it off, my order arrived in a heavy duty BAG not a box.

I will never order from this company again.
