I didn't enjoy my shopping at Linens 'n Things online. I found the experience frustrating and the website confusing.

Finding what you want:

First, I couldn't find what I wanted, which was a bedspread. The reason is that bedspreads are under the "Quilts & Coverlets" section. I don't classify a bedspread as either a quilt or a coverlet. So, in order to find one I had to do a "search". When you click on "comforters" be prepared for some frustration too. When you look under "flannel" in the comforter section, there are no comforters! Just flannel sheets. Call me strange, but I would think those would be in the section called "sheets".

Now, back to the bedspread. Once found, I ran into my second problem which is the selection. They have only one "real" bedspread. They do offer it in 4 colors, which is two more than their brick and mortar store. The colors seem a bit different than what I'm used to. For instance, their idea of green is something I'm sure they didn't get from Crayola. It appeared gray to me.

Another issue I have with the website is information. The bedspread I wanted had coordinating shams. Next to the link for the sham is an icon indicating a picture is available. It's not a picture of the sham, it is a blown up picture of the bedspread. This is not helpful, especially if you'd really like to know what that sham looks like!

Suppose you want to buy a coverlet. Click on a coverlet and you've got a surprise. A decided lack of information. They do give you the size in inches for the twin coverlet. However, if you want the dimensions of anything larger, you won't find that information here.

Customer Service: I had very little contact with customer service. I did send a few emails inquiring about dimensions of some products, and the lack of pictures. They did get back to me after two days about the dimensions, but never about the pictures.

Last but certainly not least, their prices are just a bit too high. For a Queen Comforter Set, which includes a comforter, bed skirt, and pillow shams, the lowest price was $249.00. Most of the queen size sets were over $300.00. I felt this was too expensive for the few items you get with the set.
