One item in my first purchase arrived damaged; Gregory quickly sent a replacement part...which was a good response.
I like this merchant but believe they need to update their order shipping/tracking information for customers. Most merchants send an email with tracking information when an order ships. I've purchased items from Gregory on two separate occasions...in neither instance was i informed when my order had shipped nor provided tracking information.

Still have not received the fan blades. They are not back ordered. Called and told them builder was waiting for them. Merchant could not provide immediate status. Received an e-mail response with no apology for their error. Errors do occur, but they don't seem to care about customer service.

Lighting fixture was shipped directly from manufacturer and was completely damaged in shipping. Lighting By Gregory was very quick to remedy the situation and had the manufacturer send a replacement. We are very satisfied with their responsiveness and making things right!

I ordered over $2000 in high end ceiling fans for a new home. Of course they charge your card immediately, as expected.
I have been waiting two months and still don't have my fans. It's impossible to speak with a person. Why they even list a phone number is beyond me. Their website "customer service contact us" results are absurd, canned responses making you quite sure that no one ever looked at your inquiry. I have used it repeatedly and to call it customer service is a laugh. I just want my fans and I'll be done with this company forever! I would never recommend this website to anyone. |

Hi, I am so glad to have this opportunity to share my experience. We ordered 2 paloma wall sconces on Feb 4th. The next day, I received an email from the co. stating that they received our order and that an order number would be sent on the following business day. I didn't receive anything for a week, so I tried calling. I got the voice mail each time and nobody called me back. I tried emailing their customer service dept and did not hear back. My husband finally got a live person on the phone Feb 23 but they were rude and put him on hold. He hung up after 30 minutes. Only after we called our credit card did they email me that the sconces were on back order. If they would have done this from the beginning, we would not have had a problem.

I ordered a Billiard Light from Lighting by Gregory with the expectation that it would ship in 2 weeks as was stated on their website. After 2 weeks I called to check the status only to be told that the light was back ordered and would not ship for 5-6 more weeks. I asked to cancel the order but was told by the sales associate that I needed do that by email. They could not cancel the order by phone. After sending the cancellation request I received an email from Customer Service informing me that was back ordered and would not ship for 5-6 more weeks. I already knew this. No mention whatsoever of my request to cancel my order. I have emailed them a second time with the same request. Still no response. Their Website still lists this light as shipping within 2 weeks. Overall, Lighting was very prompt in acknowledging my order. They certainly took money quickly. I'm less than satisfied with the response of Customer Service.
