I can't stress how awful this company is to deal with. Please, please, please, save yourself the hassle and do not order anything from this company. The Lighting Universe was the worst eshopping experience I ever had and I do quite a bit of buying online. I ordered a dresser from the Lighting Universe on 11/18/08. My credit card was charged on 11/21/08. As of 12/28/08, I have yet to receive the product. The website said this product was in stock and would ship in 1-3 business days. The service is awful. Everytime I call to find out the delivery status, I get different answers depending on who picks up the phone. They keep blaming their manufacturer (ATG) for the delays. One sales woman, by the name of Kelly, was very unprofessional and copped an attitude with me when I told her I wanted to cancel my order. After scolding me, she told me I would have to pay a restocking fee. I explained since there is no mention of this fee on their website and I didn't agree to any terms and conditions, I wasn't paying. I ended up canceling the order through my credit card company because I didn't trust they could reliably do it. If you have an order pending with this company and haven't received your product yet, I suggest you do the same. I purchase many things online. This lousy experience has made me think twice about ever shopping online again. I should have researched this company before I purchased anything from it. Had I done that first, I would have seen all the bad reviews and saved myself quite a bit of time.
