Lost package and awful customer service

Leapfrog never shipped a portion of my order, which was intended to be Santa's gift for my son.  Of course, the part of my order which never made it out to me was the most expensive part - a Leapster2 gift package.  I received one package which stated that it contained all items in my order, which it did not; when I emailed Leapfrog online help (being that I found it impossible to find a phone # anywhere on their website), they claimed that UPS was sending it in 2 shipments and sent me a second tracking number.  It is now almost 3 weeks later and that tracking # still shows that Leapfrog has not given any shipment to UPS to send...so this is clearly an error on LF's end.  However, LF simply refuses to own this error and send out the item to me...instead I keep getting emails back feigning apologies but doing nothing.  When I finally did dig up their phone # through internet research (thete should be a # clearly given on their website but there is not, probably b/c they don't want to deal with calls from disgruntled folks like me), I have spoken to who appears to be the same woman twice who, again, feigns apologies, tells me that they are sending a "note" to the "front office" and can tell me nothing for certain on when the item will ever ship to me.  She cannot (or will not) transfer me to a manager or anyone with authority to address my issue.  I paid LF $100 for this item 3 weeks ago and they had no problem taking my $$ right away...they are still selling this item on their website (the Leapster2 WallE Gift Pack - don't order it as I doubit it will ever get to you!) so why can they not simply ship it out to me now?!  They are really a mess to deal with and I would urge you to buy these items through Amazon (but not if LF is the third party vendor) or Target, anywhere but from LF directly!  My last effort is that I have written to them that I will report them to the BBB if I don't have something in writing that the item will go out today or my money is returned.  Terrible experience!  And no care is given by LF that their ultimate customers are little girls and boys who won't get their present from Santa they have been waiting for.
