The quickly cancelled my order and refunded the money when they, after two days, decided they could not fill the order.
Also, Your questin six is a poorly phrased option. NO CONTACT WAS REQUIRED and you do not give this option and REQUIRE a response!!

I received my purchase later than I had expected. Due to an error on LAPTOPSFORLESS website, there was confusion post sale as to whether my item was available and when it would be shipped. When I initially placed my order the item was in fact available and I even recieved confirmation (with tracking #) that the item would be delivered on date specified. I paid extra to have item shipped standard over night. When I did not recieve my item on time I researched and my order status had changed from "shipped" to "backordered". I contacted the vendor via email and requested for an explanation and a discount and all I received were two seperate emails with different tracking numbers. TWO!?! No explanation, no discount and received my item 3 days later than expected/paid. The company should have discounted me my shipping at the least! Poor customer service. I am unhappy with how they dealt with my issue and will not recommend or use this website again.

Absolutely the worse "shopping" experience I have had on the internet.
Ordered a battery for a laptop, was charged through Paypal and have not heard a single word from this outfit save for some automated message stating I was charged. If you're wise you'll stay away from this "company" like the plague. Terrible "customer service" [won't return e-mails, phone calls, etc.] |

Shopping was quick and easy. However the battery that was sent to me, even though it comes with a 1 year warranty, is dated July of 2006. The "new battery" is already three years old. I can't believe that they are selling out of date products. Even if it was made this year how long is a battery good for? I mostlikely will have problems with it not holding a charge for long.

I ordered from their website on Sunday morning and received my order on Wednesday. This was their free delivery, not expedited! I would recomend Laptops for Less to anybody and already have.

The product was there and a 2 day shipping was offered. However, Fed-X took 5 days to get the product to me. I ordered on April 1st and received the product on April 7th. Two days were the weekend. Would recommend ordering ground service since it is going to take 6 days anyway.

Don't get teased by the low prices. I placed an order from them on 12/23/08. Today is 1/25/09 and I still don't have the battery. I called them about a week ago and they said it would be shipped the next day. Well as of today, I checked the site and the item still has not been shipped.

Ordered power supply, was charged, received tracking number, and then they canceled the order. The reason sent to Google Checkout was "Customer Request". They still have the power supply listed. Shoddy company. AVOID!

I ordered a battery for my IBM laptop. It turned out to be a peice of crap. After one charge-up, it wouldn't work any more. I called customer service and talked to some rude witch who laughed at me.
Many months later, I discovered that a company called Travel Values Plus had been taking money out of my bank account without my permission. I called them up and they told me I had signed up for their crap when I placed my order at Laptops for Less. It seems that Laptops for Less must have some sort of hidden deceptive deal that you had to opt out of or something. I'm not even sure how it happened exactly, but Ive had a similar experience with Real Player. These companies are rip-off artists! I did succeed in getting the hundreds of dollars that Travel Values Plus stole from me credited back to my debit card, after calling and threatening to take them to court etc.. Beware of both of these scam companies!! |

The only problem was with FedEx. The driver delivered the package to another address and did not leave any notice at my house. It took me three days to track down where the package had been left.

I expected the purchase to be delivered within 2-3 days but it took 5 days instead. That was a disappointment. I contacted customer service because the whole reason we purchased the AC adapter was for my partner's trip to NYC--and the AC adapter did not arrive in time. Also now I have discovered that the Pismo laptop won't power up even with the working AC adapter I ordered.
If you want to improve service have on the website an honest estimate of how long it will take to receive the product.
Otherwise I think the service and website interaction was generally very good.

Need to offer USPostal Service as another shipper, they offer ground, priority and express mail, at cheaper rates and to all locations. They also insure cheaper.

I was unable to find a replacement battery for my older thinkpad at any other vendor including Lenovo.com. A Google search for "Thinkpad Batteries" included Laptops for Less. I went to their website and found exactly what I was looking for! My order was shipped promptly and arrived in Texas in four days. The price was quite reasonable too. I am very satisfied with Laptops for Less.
