Well everyrthing was pretty good and simpe. Only problem was that there was only one shipping rate for overseas customers like me: "Fedex International Priority", which is VERY expensive. There are also economy rates available from Fedex, why not offer these as an option for overseas customers? Apart from that everything else was perfect. Stefan

I did the shopping for my son. It was easy to order online, but I thought the shipping cost was a little excessive for the item I bought. I could have been shipped in a padded envelope for about 1/3 the price I paid. Oh, well. Was just glad to get the charger.

My experience with this company was horrible. The LCD TV projector lamp took nearly a week to arrive (an excessive amount of time to be without a $2,300 HDTV), and was defective upon arrival. After a long distance phone call, I was informed that a replacement would only be sent after receipt of the defective unit, resulting in nearly 3 WEEKS without my TV.

I recommend purchasing from a company willing to stand behind its products, and offer IMMEDIATE (overnite) replacement of faulty products.

Long wait on the phone to get to a person to get an RMA on the wrong part. Not real happy with the tracking of the shipment of the second part. All I had to track from Fed Ex was a delivery date until the day it was delivered. FYI, Newegg is much faster than Laptopsforless.

The followup from Laptops for Less was very poor. I received no email confirmation of my order so I wondered if they were even reputable. Then I got a blank email from Fed Ex telling me a package had shipped out of California. I had to assume it was from Laptops for Less because nothing told me that. The batteries did come on time, but waiting and worrying was less that desireable.

I found the prices very reasonable compared to what I found elsewhere. I bought the part to have on hand for future use, so I can't yet judge the quality of the item. In all respect, the items have not been delivered. They are due 12/4. I thought that LFL would email order confirmation and provide Fedex with my email address, but don't believe that happened as I went to Fedex.com to see what was going on with shipping. I would suggest that your survey was a little premature.

I had a very bad experience with this store. The customer service is horrible. I placed an order for an item and they failed to ship the items even after 3 weeks. The waiting time to talk to a customer service representative is painfully long. There is no timely correspondence to email too. They will never reply to your email or concerns.

You need to have strength and patience to place an order with this store. Infact I have read other bad reviews and inspite of that I tried my luck but learnt it the hard way that it is really bad.

I have used Laptops for Less several times over the past two years. Items ordered were always in stock and sent the same day by Fedex. A return under warranty was handled efficiently.

The two transactions I have had with them have been a nitemare. The first was for a portable Battery system, that among other things was supposed to work with a Motorola V3 phone. After receiving it it was not compatable. I called three times, average wait about 30 minutes. When I finally spoke with someone I was told that it really was NOT compatable, and that there was a misprint on the site. I returned it, and only after three weeks and two phone calls did I get a refund. IF YOU CHECK THEIR SITE, THE SAME MIS-INFORMATION IS THERE.

My second experience was with the purchase of a battery for my iPAQ. It took four weeks to get the battery, and when it did arrive, it did not work. I spoke with them and returned it, and it has been over two weeks and no replacement in spite of two calls.

They just do not care!

I cancelled the order. Four days after making the order I was notified that they did not have the item in stock. The message indicated uncertainty about when they were going to get the product, so I decided to cancel and make the order from a different retailer.

Ordered a new lamp for my TV. Lamp became inoperable within 30 days. Product was supposed to have a 90 day warranty, but company will not return inquiries by myself or the better business bureau. No I am out $260. Avoid the company at all costs.
