Overall Bad Experience - Do NOT Recommend

I've noticed this store seems to be a hit or miss with products. I've heard rave reviews and I've heard horrible reviews. However, in my experience they are horrible. I did a "test buy" from them for a watch I wanted. First, it took the order 3 weeks to arrive and when I emailed them about it they told me to wait longer. Second, the order arrived RIPPED OPEN. The watch had managed to rip the flimsy packaing (it was NOT in a box but a bag). All the magazines and everything inside the REPACKAGED BAG (by the post office) were crumpled. The watch was scratched. As if that wasn't bad enough, the watch was advertised as 7" long. However, the one I recieved was 9" long. NOBODY could wear it. It fell right off. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with this company.

I've ordered quite a bit from Lane Bryant and never had a problem with ordering or customer service. The orders always arrived neatly packaged and on time. I always ordered the capri pantsets because they were such a deal! And they were comfortable, but most of the clothes from Lane Bryant are! They have jeans, capris, tees, blouses, pajamas, panties, bras, shoes, the list goes on......great selection and the prices aren't too steep. But, I felt that the sizes were a bit big or off a bit. I still have my blue jacket with the faux fur trimming on the hood. And I purchased it awhile ago. Good quality, but too big, now that I've lost the weight! I payed $70 for it. Maybe my mom will like it.......My mom also likes shopping from here. Styles are a bit conservative.

I have purchased many items from the catalog for many years, but that is coming to an end. Their customer service is an oxymoron. I ordered a coat from them 4 MONTHS ago, returned it for a different size and I am STILL waiting for the replacement!! Last week they sent me the coat in the wrong color, then they sent me another coat in the same wrong color---and I know it's wrong because I have seen the Espresso color and I CAN tell the difference between Espresso and Tan, even if the color blind warehouse crew cannot! I have spoken to many, many "Customer Service" people over this issue and they all said "they'd call me back today". Well, that was a week ago. I still don't have my coat, nor do I have a customer service response. This is just the first step I will take in this matter. Next stop, the Attorney General, then the BBB and whoever else I can find.

I had purchased a sweat suit back in may from the online store, received the item which had very poor quality so I decided to return the item for a refund which had a guarantee. They wrote to me stating they received the item and since then I have not received my refund. I'm writing to them and no response. I would never shop from them again very poor customer service. Every thing is till they get paid.

I must say that I loved my shopping experience at Lane Bryant Catalog. I ordered one time, then had to cancel the order because I was going to be out of town and didn't realize UPS was delivering it, not USPS. I had absolutely no problem with the customer service on the phone! She was super nice and cancelled correctly! Then after I got home, I re-ordered a bunch of skorts and they all came in the right size and colors!
The delivery speed was pretty good. I had the UPS standard for one shipment, but my other was a UPS Basic, which is a weird UPS shipping process, but it turned out OK. Needless to say I was very satisfied and LOVE the skorts and the top I bought. I just re-ordered tonight a bunch of bras in different colors (the Valmont Satin Soft Cup one). I anticipate no problems! |

I made my first order a couple of months ago. After a longer than average wait for something from a retail store, I received my order, but was missing an item I ordered and in it's place was something TOTALLY different. (I ordered brown cord pants in a size 16 tall, and got a black t-shirt shirt in a size 6X)
After calling them to report the mistake, they asked me to send out the shirt and they would re-ship the pants. Sounds fine, but they charged my debit card the price of the pants again. That was 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting for them to credit my card again. ( have called twice and emailed once regarding this) Somehow I lost my head and placed another order, thinking it may be a one time deal, I ordered 4 bras. They were the same size & style, but 1 black, 2 beige & 1 white. I got them today...all beige. I don't mean to be rude, but they need to find people who fill orders that have a clue! I will NEVER buy from them again. |

I ordered (for the first time ever) clothes online with Lane Bryant Catalog a few months back. I was concerned about sizing and color changes, and was actually happy with how the clothes looked when they arrived. The colors were true to the images online, and the sizing was very close to perfect, considering my guessing. the only "complaint" I would have would be that the clothing was thinner material than I would usually consider to buy, but I was unable to gauge that online. The order came in quickly, in full, and with pre-paid postage should I need to return anything. I was pretty happy with the entire experience!

I will never order anything from LaneBryantCatalog.com again. When I placed my order online, the page stated that the item was in stock and ready to ship. But after two days my order status says that the item is backordered. I go back to there website and it still says that the item is in stock. Needless to say it has been two weeks since my purchase and my order status page still says bckord shp in proc. Which means that they still don't have it. At least they could do is update their website. I will never order from this company again.
