Cons:  A bit slow, searching.

The Bottom Line:  Lands End offers excellent products. Now you can shop from home without a catalog or paying postage.

I happen to like Lands End's products. Anything I have ever bought through the mail has been top quality and lasts a long time. They do seem to have better merchandise than you can find in the stores.

I tried purchasing from Lands end over the internet for a unique reason. If you go to the SchoolPop home page and register a school, that school gets income from your purchase, at no additional cost to you. Cool, no? As Treasurer of our PTA, I saw hundreds of dollars coming into the treasury while people painlessly made their usual purchases. SchoolPop, meanwhile, sends you promotions at your e-mail address.

Anyway, I had a problem identifying a certain item I wanted to buy from Lands End. The item number was different than the one in the catalog. However, I found Lands End has a terrific real time online assistance feature, that cleared up my question in minutes.

Making the purchase was simple and the product arrived in record time. How do they do that? I don't know but Lands End's shipping always seems super fast.

I do recommend you shop using Lands End online, but try going thru SchoolPop first if you have kids in school.
