Lands' End needs a site that functions before adding all the fancy details.

Lands' End makes it very easy to find and buy clothing, and I have found it to be especially useful in finding clothes that are out of season (I was just recently shopping for long underwear and coats in July, neither of which I would have ever found just in stores here in St. Louis). However, I do have one issue with the store, and that is its website. It is full of all kinds of features meant to make clothes shopping easier, like a Virtual Model and size suggestion aid to help make sure things fit and look normal. However, the Virtual Model is rather poorly designed, offering color options that are out of stock and no size selection (a problem for me, since virtually nothing was offered in my recommended size, an XS), as well as giving an automatic "mandatory outfit" of sorts, which is annoyingly difficult to change. Also, I found many broken or nonsensical links. (For example, clicking on a color swatch nearly always sends me to the Lands' End homepage. Logical? NO!) However, if you can find your way through a difficult website, the end result is well worth your time.
