LL Bean

I absolutely love LL Bean. I started shopping on-line two years ago when I needed a couple of Christmas presents. My experience was so positive, and the merchandise was of such high quality(a backpack and hiking boots), that I buy almost all my clothes from the Bean now. In fact, if I need an item, I check to see if LL Bean has it before I look anywhere else.

The Customer Service has been unbelievable. I recently received a check in the mail from Bean for $10 because apparently the item I had previously ordered had been marked down. I would have expected a refund if I had called and requested one, but I didn't even know my item had been marked down. Also, I often call their 800 number to ask questions, and have always been very satisfied with the responses. The folks I speak to are friendly and knowledgeable, and if they don't have an answer, they let me speak to the product specialist. Finally, all the merchandise I've ordered has arrived quickly and in good shape, and I've never had any trouble making returns.

My only negative comment is that some of their jackets (the pull-over fleece and the down vest) have been a little short for my frame.

I highly recommend LL Bean. I don't think you can beat the quality of the merchandise, nor the customer service.
