I was recently enticed by LL Bean's offer of free Shipping. I have never ordered anything from them in the past, and figured now is the time.

Product Selection:
LL Bean offers an extensive range of Mens, Womens, and children's clothing, outerwear, shoes, and outdoor gear.

Customer Service:
I called them toll free at 1-800-441-5713, I almost fell out of my chair, there was no automated BS to go through. Someone picked up the phone after 2 rings and was very helpful with questions I had on a few of there products.

After I placed my order I called back 3 days later after not seeing my item as shipped yet, and again they where very kind and helpful. I was advised that my order was shipping that day and would still arrive on time.

Shipping:
Here is one area I will caution, when I called to check my order they couldn't tell me how my item shipped as they where not sure how the free shipping items where being shipped. After my item shipped I learned they used Smart Post, which is Fed Ex picks up the products and passes them off to your local Postal service. I've never used this service before and have read some pretty bad reviews on it. It worked fine for my order though.

My order arrived on time as promised, I ordered on Tuesday October 9th, item stated 5-6 business days. Item shipped Friday October 12th, Item received today Wednesday October 17th.
