LA Micro Group

Our experience with lamicrogroup.com was short but successful.
Our old data-base server was too slow. We have made decision to buy a new more faster server.
After a little tender we have chosen La Micro Group. They had helped us to chose better configuration (HP / COMPAQ PROLIANT DL760 G2) and had soled it.
We take a good server and more good opinions of their services.

This was one of my worst experiences. These people work out of the back of a stolen pick up truck.They weren't able to justify why they don't except major credit cards. Their disclaimer says their product is refurbished, the sales rep swore it was new. Their management then tells you that it's reconditioned but sold at a price close to new. My purchase order was sent to them to secure the product 2 days in advance before the product arrived to the pick up truck and they sold the product from underneath me. Use a bigger name when you're buying instead of these clowns.

Placed an order on their website www.lamicrogroup.com, they don’t accept credit card from the website for security reasons I guess, one of their sales reps called me in 5 min and I gave them cc # and they shipped product same day. Never thought it would be that easy.....

Our company ordered a Compaq server only to find out that the drives were not Compaq branded. We returned the server in August, 2003 and have yet to receive a refund (currently 1/04, I'll keep you updated). I continue to get the runaround. First they were going to send the refund, then they said to call back and talk to the manager, then it was call back and talk to their accountant. WARNING, WARNING, stay away!!!

Purchased a xeon 2ghz / 2 mb processor for DL580 G2, delivery on time.... no problems at all although too much hustle with a payment via credit card they asked for a copy and signature on the invoice

Great company to work with .... it was almost impossible to find DL760 G1 brand new with 3 year compaq warranty for a right price. These guys had it for sale ... lower the other people were selling refurb. Very good experience.

I ordered 201202-001 over the phone on a Monday. I found the price was better then most of the normal places I shopped. It was priced at nearly $1000 more for most of the places I usually shop, seller had no rating but the low price made me to gamble. I ordered over the phone, then called the next day to make sure everything was going well. They told me it was shipping and that I'd have it in 3 days. Called the next day to make sure it shipped and to get the tracking number. They gave me the tracking number and i next day it showed up. I have to say my order was simple and easy. The people I talked to on the phone were good other then not.
