The experience is great. the store and staff are very customer oriented and professional. Very pleased with the overall service. The delivery was timely, better yet, item arrived faster than expected, it came on or about date promised. The item came in good shape, neatly packed and well secured. The only thing that disappointed me is that i was expecting to receive the product in an HP box as it was advertised original HP and therefore would have its own box. It came in a generic box and since i have not opened the product yet from its sealed wrap(purchased this as a reserve supply), its hard to say yet if item is indeed an HP original. This positive review at this point is mainly aimed at the overall buying experience with the seller. If their service and professionalism are the same as the authenticity of the product they advertise and sell, then they have added a regular customer from us for all our printing needs. We consider it an achievement if during encounter with sellers, we stumble on a good one. LA Computer Center Online Store definitely is one!

I ordered a refurbished HP 5000GN laser printer. It took a full week to ship. They shipped a 5000N with some upgrades that was supposed to make it "as good" as a 500GN. Two weeks and two complaints later, they shipped a missing paper tray.

The printer is refurbished, but the print quality is terrible. It prints lighter than anyone would like on most of the page and too light to read on part of the page.

They refused to issue an RMA for the printer. I am pretty sure I will make my point about the terrible print quality by printing my dispute letter on their printer.

ordered a sentry fire safe; I did some research online for that model and LA Computer Center had the best price; The safe is very heavy (several hundred pounds) and it was shipped by truck within a few days after placing the order and arrived without damage. I also was contacted on the phone by a LA Computer representative before shipping to confirm the shipping address and he went through my order with me to ensure its accuracy.

It was not my greatest shopping experience. I had to wait awhile for my ink toner to be shipped to me. Afte calling them two times I was able to get ahold of someone and come to find out that they were out of stock and were trying to find it cheaper to buy it so then sell it to me instead of letting me know they didn't have it and seeing if I wanted to wait or get it somewhere else because they could not provide it in a timely manner. I would have been more patient, instead I had to wonder when I was goingt o get my order completed. I ended up receiving half of my order and canceled the rest because I couldn't wait anymore for them to get their act togather.

I ordered 3 JetDirect print servers on 7/14/06. The order was shipped within 24 hours with tracking numbers and order confirmation received promtly by e-mail. The product arrived as expected, and in good order.

Wow. Nothing has changed with these yahoos in over a year. Still sucking! To make a long story really short they sold me a refurbished HP Laserjet as being new. After two months of phone calls, contact with the BBS and my credit card company I finally got my credit. They also wanted to charge me a $400 restock fee for shipping me a used printer. That is the short version. It was a NIGHTMARE. Stay away from these idiots!

Stay away from LA Computer!! I called and spoke to a salesrep named David at X230. I received a quote from him for $25K worth of product. I double checked and triple checked before ordering that they had the item in stock and that they were brand new. Three days after ordering I called to check on the order and was told they only had 5 of the 11 drives and the 5 they had were not shippable due to the packaging being beat up. I have never had a worse experience!! Again, stay away from LA Computer!! They do not deserve your business.

We here at Laser Logics, Inc. have tried to order several parts from LA Computer Center. We searched online for the best price and find it at LACC.com. The site says items are in stock and available for immediate shipping. We order the parts and call to confirm shipment. A few days later we call back to check on status of the order and we are told that it is either backordered or on special order, after being told specifically that is is in stock and we paid with credit card. We call again after waiting another week for the item to be in like we are told and then we are told that it is no longer available. This we know is false because the manufacturer says they are new parts. this causes us delays in deliverying the product to our clients and also causes us to loose money because we used the price they quoted us. This, in my opinion, is very poor business practices.

FedEx damanged the printer we bought so had to return it. It takes forever to get a refund. I had to call every day for 5 days... It has been 2 weeks since we returned the product, yet was told the refund was "in progress to be processed". If I don't get the refund in a couple of days, I will dispute through Visa.
