In fairness let me say that I've only bought one thing from this place, however, after this experience--unless I can finally get them to do more to fix this, it will be my last purchase!
I purchased a folding hammock from them for about $86.00 with shipping. It arrived fairly quickly and the shipping wasn't too bad. At first I was happy with the purchase but the second time I used it the frame failed in a major way. This product is just a huge piece of junk. When I received the hammock the box was somewhat damaged in shipping, I don't remember seeing a packing slip in the box, I'm generally very good about keeping those things. Anyway, the box was somehow disposed of--probably by others in the household because it was just so darn big.
I contacted kmart.com about the problem with the item (at this point it was about 32 days after the purchase). At first they said somebody would contact me, two weeks later no one had. Then they told me to take it back to my nearest kmart store.
The store REFUSED to do anything for me because I didn't have an original packing slip--I had the emails confirming the order, my credit card records, etc. but the store refused to accept this stating they could not get their money back for the item.
So back to kmart.com once again, this time I got someone from my credit card to do a threeway and be on the phone with me. Kmart.com promised to send me a shipping label via email, surprise, surprise, two weeks later still no shipping label.
As I sit on hold now trying to call them yet again you can be assured I'll never deal with this pack of shysters again. I've told them I'd be happy with a credit or a gift card if nothing else, I just don't feel that anyone should be selling such a piece of junk for so much money and then refusing to take any responsibility for this thing. They're lucky I'm not suing them for being dumped on the floor by their crappy product.
If they finally come through I'll update but as of this moment I'll never give this company another dime of my money.
