On Dec 17 I ordered a WMF Pressure Cooker through their web site which was very user friendly. It was to be delivered to my sister-in-law as a Christmas present. A few days later, I got a voice mail message at home saying that I should opt for express delivery for an added charge of $15 to ensure delivery before Christmas. I called back to check this but got only a recorded message. I left a message for them to call me back - no result. Then, on 12/26, I got an e-mail saying this was backordered (then why were they asking me to sign up for express delivery ?) and that I should call or e-mail on whether I wanted to retain this or cancel it. I have called twice since then and sent an e-mail to ask for info on when it may be available and to cancel it if it will take more than a week - I have not been able to reach a live person nor has anyone responded to my e-mail. This has been the worst customer service I have encountered on the web - they seem not to care and certainly are very inefficient. I will not order from them and would urge others to avoid them. There are many other places on the web where you will get better and more reliable service. Do not be misled by their claims of customer friendliness - they have none.
