I've made quite a few King Size Direct purchases, mostly jeans, some shorts, a collegiate zip up sweatshirt and a few shirts. I don't really have many complaints about my shopping experience. They could be better about notifying customers when items shipped or are on backorder. I hate having to go dig for information on my own. My biggest grievance, however, is them sending me fifty million catalogs. I swear I get like 3-5 catalogs a month and it's annoying and an ungodly waste of resources. I'd rather get email spam than catalog after catalog with the same stuff in them. Seriously, if you're gonna send a catalog, send them when you have different items to sell. My only other problem with KSD is when you do order pants, you have to pay an extra $5 for them to hem them. That's really lame.
Many of the items I have bought have been private labeled "King Size Direct". The quality of the items vary greatly. The cargo shorts I have bought (2 jeans, 1 khaki) has withstood a few summers well. They are sturdy and withstand multiple washings and the colors haven't faded nor do they shrink or stretch out. That can not be said of some of the t-shirts I have bought. Often the quality is not up to par and a couple of the white t-shirts we've bought have completely lost their shape and elasticity and are only good for pajamas or for dusting.
Although much of their products are a little pricey, you can usually take advantage of a lot of their discounts if you do a little online searching.
Overall, I can't say I have had bad shopping experiences with them. Let's be honest, if I buying from KSD, then my shopping options are limited right off the bat, however, I do they could make some improvements in quality of some of the products and enough already with the catalogs (not to mention I am getting catalogs from all kinds of other places as well). 80% of the time, my items have been on time and when I am proactive and login and check my status, it's usually accurate.
