Kelley Furniture is the worst company I have ever encountered. I had initially placed an order with them for a bedroom set. When I recieved my confirmation the salesperson, Jessica, had neglected to add the the additional items that I wished to purchase. I called back and spoke to her asking her to add the armoire. She told me that she had done that and everything was taken care of. Before I had placed my order I specifically asked that she check with the manufacturer to make sure that the furniture was in stock. She said that she had spoken to the manufacturer and that every item was available. I called a week after placing my order and Jessica told me that all of the items in my order were in fact back ordered for almost two weeks. I tried to be patient when she told me that the items would ship two weeks later and take only about 3 or 4 days to make it to my apartment. I then called a week later to have Jessica tell me that the items would be on back order for an additional 2 weeks and that even then she wasn't sure how long it would take before i would get my furniture. I asked to speak with her supervisor who proceeded to engage me in a screaming match where his solution was to cancel my order. I agreed and cancelled my order.
I then ordered my same bedroom set from another furniture company called, Everythingfurniture.com. I placed the order and paid for the furniture only to find that Kelley furniture had indeed charged my account $1,500 for my furniture... the furniture that I had already cancelled! They caused my account to overdraw as well as bounce other checks. When I called complain and get my money back they were not at all apologetic... they simply issued a credit that would be available in 5-7 days.
Everything furniture was wonderful... they price matched my items from Kelley furniture as well as kept me posted through emails and phone calls as to when my furniture would be available. They even shipped items separately as they were available from the manufacturer... at their expense! Now, thats customer service.
DO NOT SHOP KELLEY FURNITURE... ITS A RISK ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!!
