I ordered a toy 30 days in advance before Christmas , which I received an email that it was on back order, but it would shipped on 12/18th. As the 18th came and went with no more information I called only to be told that the item was shipped and Kazoo was waiting for the toy manufacturer/distubutor to provide them with a UPS tracking number. Once they received the UPS tracking number I will receive an email from Kazoo. I was also told to be patient for Kazoo had 1 person on staff going through about 1600 emails of UPS tracking numbers for online customers just before the Holidays. However, if I don't receive an email by Mon Dec 22nd to call them back again. Well I received no email so I called again only to hear the excuse that Schoenhut had lied to them that the item shipped but in fact it didn't. Regardless, Kazoo's manager didn't offer me a solution. Eventually, I contacted Schoenhut in Fl they confirmed that they did NOT have the item in the color I ordered but in another color that they could ship overnight on the 23th, which barely made it on the 24th. The manager blamed it on Schoenhut and didn't offer a solution until I offered to switch the piano to a different color and offered to pay half of the overnight shipping, however KAZOO should have been forth coming offering ME THE CUSTOMER a solution instead of the other way around, but I was already frustrated and didn't want a disappointed child on Christmas morning. After the holiday I noticed that I didn't receive a credit of the UPS ground shipping from the orginal order on 11/25th. So I called AGAIN only to be told that the person who handled that was off that day and they would be contacting me via email or I would receive a phone call the next day. I am still waiting for that call and the email. I have concluded that with this order from Kazoo I will EAT the shipping and at this point Kazoo can CHOKE on the UPS ground shipping on the original order. I am Thankful of my years of experience working as a computer RESELLER that I was able to contact Schoenhut directly to come up with a solution for a child's christmas present even if the manager at Kazoo was too daft to handle it herself.
I will NEVER BUY FROM KAZOO TOYS AGAIN.. EVER!!! RUN DO NOT WALK FROM THIS COMPANY.If they claim they are number ONE it won't be for long. Customer service should be a high priority but EVEN more so in a resession for every business and employee is vunerable and there are plenty of people looking for work and business who can do a much better job then Kazoo Toys.
