I ordered, online, an annual license renewal for my Kaspersky Anti-virus software. The online order process was quick and efficient (lower price would be nice, but...).
After my order was verified I promptly received online download and installation/update instuctions. All went well except for the loss of a few days on the new annual expiration. I emailed Kasperksy technical support. They promptly replied providing a new license key. The new key installed not only restoring the "lost" days but adding about 2 weeks beyond the normal full year!
This is an excellent experience; a very good product.

I bought the anti-virus product from NCIX in Vancouver BC, Canada. Excellent Service. My subscription is up Dec. 28. When I went on to the Kaspersky Lab site to renew I had all kinds of problems. CANADA WAS NOT IN THE DESTINATION PROMPT, YET IT WAS A REQUIRED FIELD. I had to contact support to get my new 2008 activation number. Please make it easier for Canadians to renew your products.

I sent in a email to the customer servive department a few weeks ago and never go a repsonse. I did intialilly download the Anti-virus and was unable to activate the "key". Ordered the Anti-Virus 7.0 online and cannot activate, so right now I'm using a "Trial" which will expire in less than a month. I think I'll be out the $70 I paid for the product. Any help would be appreciated to get my product activated.

Information I needed to complete my order was not available online. The renewal website was only directing me in circles, repeating display of pages that could not answer my questions. I was working against an expiration time limit so use of e-mail as a contact method was unacceptable. It was very difficult to locate a telephone number for Kaspersky Labs customer service. I finally located such a telephone number (with difficulty). After two (reasonably short) telephone calls to Kaspersky Labs I was e-mailed the information I needed to complete this order without further delay or inconvenience.
One problem I have noticed in recent years that more and more companies fail to provide adequate contact information for their customers. Too many companies are turning to "e-mail only" or "website only" support, and are actually trying to hide telephone contact information from their customers. Such policies only hurt these companies in the long run, and they lose business.
Little details, such as posting a telephone number (and answering the calls that come it instead of relying on voice-mail), or being willing and able to accept a mailed check or money-order instead of demanding online credit card payment only, separate the winners from the losers.
