Had to change order by phone. Customer service rep was very friendly and had no problem correcting order. However, it has been nearly a month and the items I ordered for a seasonal business have not arrived yet-part of the order was on back order. I would hesitate to reorder from this company. It would have been faster to go to a local restaurant supply store.

I would shop there again if I could not find the product elsewhere. The product I ordered was on back order and no one alerted me to that fact. I did not know until one month later when I emailed them and asked them about my order.

I emailed my order 2 weeks before st. Pat's day and said I needed them before the 17th of march. I finally got an email after 2 inquiries about the status of my order from someone who said the mugs would not be delived to me on time and I said cancel my order then. I have yet to hear one word from this company. I certainly hope that there is NOT a charge on my credit card, but a refund a.s.a.p.

I purchased a galvanized copper beverage tub from Ka Tom on 12/13. First the web site gave no indication that it was backordered. When they sent me the order confirmation they didn't mention that part either. I finally received it 2/18. There was no proactive information or updates sent to me, only responses to my inquiries about where it was, each time promising it was on the way from the manufacturer to their warehouse.
When I received the item, it was not galvanized copper, but instead aluminum painted with a copper colored paint that was already flaking off in multiple places - all the corners and some edges. Very poor quality. I won't buy again from Ka Tom. |

Great selection at great prices. However, I soon learned they do not stock everything listed on their website. My flatware order, heavy duty tongs, and all my Polar Ware items came from the manufacturer. This caused some delays, but only for 2 days. There was an exception on a large dinner fork that we both found it to be a special order item and the manufacturer was out. For the weekend they shipped me some regular dinner forks and I got them in time.
On another note- I absolutely love Polar Ware "The Edge" steam table pans and KaTom's price on them is great! After handling Vollrath and other brands, they either pinched or cut me. Not with "The Edge" pans as these are a dream to handle. |

i have purchased from katom for the last 5 years and always had a great experience. i own 10 restaurants and we always have a piece of equipment breaking or smallwares and china that need replacing. they stock a lot and their ladies in customer service are very helpful and friendly (complete with their southern accents). overall, always a joy doing business with them.

I recently purchased some Anchor Hocking wine glasses from KaTom and felt compelled to write how satisfied I was with my entire ordering experience. First, the website was easy to use so I was quickly able to find exactly the right size of wine glass I was looking for and second, the customer service representive who called me to informme on a shipping issue (I had mistyped my zipcode), was very pleasant.

I ordered a cream whipper and was very pleased at the price and shipping. KaTom had the lowest legitimate price that I could find (a couple websites offered it for a couple buck less but all the reviews for those sites complained about never receiving the items ordered) and reasonable shipping rates. The best part was how quickly it arrived! I ordered it on a Weds. and it shipped the next day! I got it in less than a week, which isn't bad for basic UPS ground shipping.
I would definitely order from KaTom again. |

That is why I called after 3 days) service said they forgot to tell me it was on back order (?) Salesperson:Jeennifer, and that it would be about 7 days. Yesterday, 11/02 was 7 days and I have not received product. Have not even received an e mail so I could track it. I like the wide variety of items available. I would like to see more supplies for bakers and more caterers supplies. I discovered you have more products than what is showing up online. You need to show everything online.
Next things I am looking to purchase in the near future. A table on wheels that folds and fits into my car for catering. Baby changing table that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Received a confirmation email of my order. In the email it included the ability to TRACK YOUR ORDER - however this is only useful once it has shipped.
There is no ability to check the current status of your order on the merchant's website.
I still haven't received the items ordered (that were shown to be in stock) - and no idea what their status is - or when/if they will even be delivered.
