Although my product was not damaged I do not care to use this website but to only see what toys are good for my child's age. I had a problem with my shipping. Not only was it too expensive, I had to track my order down and call twice to find out why my product never came to my house like the website reported it did. Customer Service was nice but it took 2 calls to get the to follow through on the delivery. I gift arrived late.

very easy to navigate this website. The greatest thing about it is that you could narrow your choice by gender of child, age, or even price range. It makes it very easy especially if you are browsing and don't know what to buy. I personally found it a lot better than Toys R US website though the latter is associated with amazon.. They ship fast, the rates are based on the weight of the item which also beats amazon..

I wouldn't place an order with them again if they paid me to. We've been watching several online retailers for months to get a Nintendo Wii and as luck had it, KBToys.com showed them in stock on the morning of December 27th. I quickly placed an order for a bundle with 5 games and a console. I received an email stating my order would deliver between January 5th and January 20th.
Well long story short, by January 20th nothing had shipped. I called an complained daily, demanding they upgrade me to overnight and explain why the shipment never sent. I explained that if the item was back ordered they are legally required to notify the customer. They continued to claim that it "was not back ordered, their warehouse was just incredibly busy". Three weeks behind... that's not busy, that's a problem. Well around the end of January I received an email notifying me that my order had been canceled to due to a limited supply which they could not guarantee delivery dates for. I order through CircuitCity.com the next weekend and had my Nintendo Wii in 3 days. |

I emailed KBtoys about a saucer chair that had ripped (the manufacturers fault). I received an email within 2 hours (and at 11pm) telling me that the item was no longer in stock and that they would be crediting my card. I was to do what I wanted with the chair.
This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. The response was quick and detailed. Will definitely shop there again. |

K B toys has both a good online return policy and a good instore policy. This is in comparison to Toysrus which has decided to no longer offer returns without a receipt. Which of course includes those inevitable times someone gives you something you already have with no gift receipt! Yikes! In order to reward KB for it's excellent customer service, I will, in the future, purchase all my children's toys (and their friend's) there.

KBtoys.com has one of the largest online toy selections around. I just love shopping on this site. The selection changes frequently enough and deals are some of the best around. The best thing about shopping KB is that often I can find items that are sold out or discontinued. I recently purchased an item that was only sold at one other retailer. I chose KB because the price was right. I received my item promptly and the packaging was quite secure. The online store is just as much fun to shop as the actual KB stores in the mall or in the plaza. The selection is diverse enough for all age groups and the inventory large. When I can't get to the actual store, the online store is definitely the next best option.

I was completely appalled at the lack of service offered by KBtoys.com! I placed an order and was given a tracking number only to be given part of the order. When I contacted them I was told I had to wait the full ten day time frame to be sure I would not receive the order, only to wait and find out out they never actually shipped the item due it being out of stock. Now, I have to wait up to 60 days to receive my refund! This was for a Christmas gift that I have now missed most of the sales on due to their lack of honesty. I will NEVER use their site or any of their affiliates again. I have never had any issues like this before shopping online! Also, if you are missing an item you cannot call them you can only email!

I ordered a keyboard as a Christmas gift for my nephew on December 10, 2005 and was given a delivery range of December 15th to December 23rd. When the product did not arrive by the middle of the week estimated I started to get a bit nervous and logged into the web site to check the status. To my surprise it was on backorder until after Christmas. As I was very upset at the time I decided that I was going to cancel my order. To cancel a backorder you are requested to enter an item number which is not printed on the receipt. Better yet, next I looked up the product on the web site to get the item number to cancel my order and it states that the item is in stock and $10 cheaper than I paid for it!!! After going through all of this crap I ended up not canceling my order. It was delivered in January...along with a $10 gift certificate...which might cover shipping if I am ever stupid enough to buy something from them again.

I Placed two orders with this place, First one they sent an email a week later to say they was a mix up in the shipping dept and my order could not be filled. Second order was placed and they even gave me a shipment recieve date. Well after 4 days past shipment date, I still had no item. I made the dreaded "ON HOLD, BUT WE CARE ABOUT YOU" phone call, I was told that the item was out of stock and it was never shipped. THIS ALL AFTER I WAS TOLD ORGINALLY THAT THE ITEM WAS "IN STOCK" AND THIS TIME NOT PROBLEM WITH SHIPPING DEPT. This place SUCKS and would not even buy a gumball from them. I ordered an item November 20 and received two revised arrival dates with a final delivery date of December 23. Item never arrived! Customer service rep would not grant me a full refund, but offered a 20% refund and would ship another since they were still in stock. I could keep the first shipment if it ever arrived! What nerve! A supervisor granted my refund, which I have yet to see post. By the looks of other reviews, KB did not have their stuff together for Christmas and ruined many people's holidays!

I ordered from KB Toys.com for Christmas on Dec 9th, way before their posted deadline of when to order to arrive by Christmas. I even got an email saying they would upgrade shipping to make sure they arrive in time, but they didn't. Then, I phoned and talked to a Customer Service Rep and she said they'd definitely arrive by Dec 24th. I only got one gift on the 23rd before Christmas, and one has not ever arrived yet 4 days after! They won't answer their phones or reply to emails. I am very angry about this and my son is sad.

I ordered Christmas gifts on Dec. 11, the guaranteed delivery for Christmas was the 16th. I heard nothing from them until Dec. 22 saying that they would make sure that my order would arrive by the 24th. If they had to they would upgrade my order, at no additional cost to me, to ensure that I would receive it. I then am told on the 23rd that they canceled one item that was unavailable. Although, when I ordered it was listed as in stock. I began to panic these were my daughters gifts. I followed the tracking number through UPS and it said that my shipment would not arrive until the 27th. I felt sick! They never informed me that I was not going to get my oder for Christmas. My husband started calling customer service to see what was going on and he could only get recoded messages. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We didn't have time to go out looking to replace her presents. Needless to say I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!! I strongly advise people if you need a gift on time and expect customer service, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!

Never do business with KBToys! I placed an order on Dec 14th and heard nothing from them. I checked my order status on Dec 22nd and it said "Order being processed". On Dec 23rd, my order status changed to "Cancelled". I called their support number and was put on hold for over 2 hours. The customer representative informed me that they didn't have the toys, so they just cancelled my order. No email or phone call to tell me this. I had to call them!
It's December 23rd, 2005 and there is no way that I can get something shipped to my nieces that live on the East Coast (I live in the West coast). If they had given my prior notice, I could have made other arrangements. Now they will have no gifts under the Christmas tree. KBToys is deceptive. They advertise that they have the toys in stock, when in fact they do not. |

I ordered a product on December 10th, was assured up until yesterday that my item would ship and be in time for Christmas. Here it is December 21st at 9pm, I just received an email stating they had cancelled my order. No explanation, no alternatives offered, just a "sincere apology". That is really going to cut it when the item my Daughter wanted most is not under the tree. I would NEVER shop here again. Poor customer service.

This is a warning!!! If your shopping for the holidays, i suggest you place your order in November. I placed an order on 12/06/05. On 12/21/05 i received 1 out of 7 items. However on that same day i also placed orders with Walmart.com, EToys.com and Amazon.com. I received all of their deliveries complete by 12/17/05. The first to deliver were Walmart and Amazon "They Are Great".

I purchased an item three weeks ago, the "instock" item was promised the first of December, and now is "Being processed" to ship December 25th. You cannot cancel the item nor can you get any help online or on the phone to resolve the issue. They then suggest you return the item when you get it, but they will make you pay shipping costs!
Terrible customer service, I would recommend a store that cares enough to help customers or at least offer to cancel their inability to fulfill an order. |

For the most part, KB is okay to shop at, BUT when there is a problem with an order, you might as well forget getting any help. I placed an order, got the email confirmation that the package had shipped and would be delivered no later than a certain date. The date came and went, I contacted the shipping company DHL, they said a label had been created but that the package was still at KB Toys because they had not requested it be picked up. I emailed KB, THREE TIMES and all 3 times got the same canned response. The date the package had shipped and the date that it should be delivered by, even though the date had passed. Finally, I found a phone number on their website to call, a toll free number where they could not help me but gave me another number-NOT toll free to call for customer service. I have now been on hold for 35 minutes, I am not at all happy about their customer service. Will update when I get this resolved.

Received a $50 gift card from my employer, they canceled my order and will not put the $50 back on the card. I was informed that my employer (since that's how I got the card) would have to call them. Seems to me it is just a way for them to keep MY $50. The customer service department certainly doesn't care. They just give their "cookie cutter" answers and refuse to help. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. They are cheat, swindlers and crooks. I have also left them several messages with no response. I guess they don't really care about customers and trying to make them happy. I will no shop at Toys-R-Us, even if I have to pay higher prices, it will be worth it!!
