My wife received an email from KBToys advising her that TMX Elmo was going to be on sale on KBToys website starting November 24th at 1 p.m. At that time I was able to place the order and received an order confirmation. To further confirm the transaction I called my bank to make sure the debit card transaction went through. The bank stated the transaction did not show on their system and I immediately called KB's customer service to confirm the order placement. KB's customer service rep confirmed the order and confirm the credit card transaction went through. On November 25th, I received an email stating the order was cancelled due to inability to confirm the credit card information. I immediately called KB's customer service and spoke with their supervisor, Ed. The supervisor stated that the system could not handle the volume of orders being placed leading to some orders not being fulfilled because the limited quantity of the item. I asked him what he could do and he stated that the only thing they could do is put me on the call list. I stated I should not suffer due to their order processing system inability to handle the volume. Ed stated, "It is only a toy how did we cause you to suffer?" This was an insult and showed the lack of customer service on behalf of KBToys. I am deeply dissapointed by the way I was handled and will no longer shop at KBToys if the matter is not resolved. I am sure that like myself, there are others that experience the same treatment and probably have the same conclusion as I have. Also, the system was extremely slow in purchasing and get giving me an operation time out error message and I had to click the place order button several times before the system took my order. If you do not have the system in place to handle the volume of request for such a popular item than you should not put the item for sale since you are risking hundreds of dissatisfied customers for a small quantity of the item.
