i have had decent experiences with jewelry tv, including having to return a pair of black diamond stud earrings with a flaw on not one, but both gemstones. the customer service rep was very pleasant and indicated not only did we not need to return the damaged item (which my friend gladly took, even with the flaws) they were mailing a replacement and refunded the original cost and then charged a reduced cost of 20% for the replacement, which came 2 days later and was in excellent condition. i think with any customer service rep, if you don't like the results, try back again-most likely you will get another person. plus, a little honey doesn't hurt. i have purchased small gemstone parcels and my last one (20 ctw mixed facets on sale $29.99) contained 3 very clear 1/8 c diamonds. i also received a small but pretty paraiba valued at $600 in a 50c parcel. i will continue to use them for lower cost purchases, but think i will pass on anything i'd rather see in person before making a big purchase. make sure you use their free shipping days to save money and ordering online instead of over the phone saves on shipping also. they often email out discount codes. still a loyal customer.
