STAY AWAY from Jewelry TV - worse jewelry crap around

Oh my God, I can't believe there hasn't been a huge class action suit against Jewelry TV. I ordered black Tahitian pearl stud earrings and my greatest fears were realized. Looked nothing like the illustration online. Everything possible was wrong with these earrings. Round? A two year old can draw a circle that looks more round than these. Surface? There is a huge and ugly indentation/groove around the bottom half of one earring and in that groove is a big gouge. Lustre? The one with the huge groove has decent lustre but the other is pretty dull. Matching of the two pearls? Look like salt and pepper next to each other. The one without the groove is much lighter than the other - more silver in appearance than black. Looks like they went into a "rejected pearls" bin and picked out two of the worst pearls they could find and threw them together in a box. These were probably already returned by one or more other customers. In sum, this is a swindle. No matter how cheap, these earrings should never have been sold. I was hesitant to buy from Jewelry TV because of mixed reviews. If you like playing Jewelry "russian roulette", then go ahead and take a chance. When they reach into the large bin of defective gems, maybe they might just pull out one or two that are barely acceptable. But, fair warning, they don't seem to care what they sell you, and brace yourself for a big disappointment and possible screw job.
