Terrible Customer Service, Outright lies about shipping

I ordered items that I ~absolutely needed~ by a particular date. I was careful to check the availability of the items (no backorders!) and the estimated arrival dates (plenty of time to be delivered before the event!) I should have known better than to trust them--how can you trust any catalog who uses teensy models to display Fat Woman clothes?!?!?!?!?!?!? My items have not arrived, tomorrow is too late, and when I called them they admitted to backordered delays. Jessica London Lies To You, and I recommend that YOU spare yourself the aggravation by learning from MY mistake.

I want bigger models

Their clothing is for women size 14W and higher, yet the models wear nothing higher than a size 2. It would be nice to see larger models in these clothes so that I could get a better idea of what they would look like on me.
The delivery speed is good, and the accuracy of the order is good. |

A plus sized clothing site with skinny models and low quality!

Ahh Christmastime. It's the time I shop all over the net and try out sites I never tried before. I usually am quite good at picking out decent online stores but, now and then even I, the shopping diva elite, make a mistake. Such was the case with

Before I begin, Let's call a spade a spade and put "the words" out there...Fat, Overweight, Thick, Chunky, Obese. I'm not going to try and sugar coat the fact that I am overweight. Not pleasantly plump, not big & beautiful...Just fat. Why kid myself?

WILL NEVER SHOP AGAIN!

Will never shop there again! Horrible customer service. I ordered items on November 22 and it is December 18 and I don't have them yet- customer service sends a pre-written information email to my inquiries. Then I have to re-write and they say they can't do anything until it is 20 days overdue - which for them is after Christmas.

Poor fit, poor quality

I have ordered many times from Jessica London and you'd think I would have learned by now. Invariably the fit is either too big or (especially with shoes) way too small. The quality is extremely poor. Fabrics are not the same color that they appear either in the catalog or onscreen. If it's advertised as wool, it will be wool - but it will look like it came from the factory floor after being there for a couple of months. With diminishing retailers available for plus-sized clothing, I hate it but I will never shop there again.

POOR QUALITY, OVERPRICED JUNK.

BELIEVE THE REVIEWS YOU READ!!! I didn't and now I have a headache! I chose a mother of the bride dress for my mom. It looked very pretty (and very dark purple in the photo). After shipping it was $150.00 and what arrived is something you might expect to find at Kmart for around $39.99. The site said it came in several sizes but they were always "out of stock". 100% polyester, the cheapest feel imaginable, and it was a light blue - nothing at all like the dark purple image on their site. It's not my monitor because I looked at the dress on several computers before buying (home, work, a friend's). The biggest disappointment was the quality. I've never taken the time to fill out a review if this tells you something. Try another site, this company is not the image they represent.

Jessica London never has items in-stock!

I am so frustrated with Jessica London that I could scream! I've been trying for ages to order one particular pantsuit and they NEVER have it in stock. I swear I don't have these problems with other plus-size retailers like Silhouettes; I can't understand why they can't fix their distribution problems! Unless you're strapped, I'd suggest that you DON'T shop at Jessica London.

Delivery speed is good. Order accuracy is fine. Customer service is what you can normally expect at a store these days.
THE QUALITY OF THE MERCHANDISE IS VERY POOR!!!! Do not purchase from this store if you can find what you need anywhere else! |

Poor Customer Service - false advertising - no product available

Very poor selection of available clothing. I just received catalog and ordered same day and everything was backordered for 3 months. Finally customer service person confessed that only two items in the whole catalog were available.

Faulty site makes shopping difficult, however, the sizing and selection sometimes makes up for it.
