NEVER shop at Jerry's Artarama

I just checked my credit card bill and found that Jerry's Artarama charged a higher amount to my credit card than the amount shown on the confirmation of my order, and on the packaging slip that arrived with my art supplies. I have been shopping at Jerry's for several years, and only occasionally had problems which were mostly due to UPS damaging the packages in transit. Jerry's had always been responsive and quick to replace items damaged in shipping. This time the representative had a fairly combative and defensive tone. The difference was significant enough for me to notice when I glanced over my credit card statement, and probably should have been more alarming to Jerry's when I informed them of the overcharge, but maybe this happens frequently there.
Jerry's said that it was a computer error, but I doubt that I will ever shop there again. Perhaps, if they had shown some degree of regret, and made me feel like this does not normally happen, I would return, but given the tone of the customer service representative I probably will not want to deal with them in the future. If you do order from them, definitely check your credit card statement against your receipt -- Jerry's is not to be trusted!
