I ordered nursery bedding, valance, crib sheet and hamper 12/26/07 online. I received notice it would be shipped in 6 weeks (which I thought was extremely long) Then, I did not receive the bedding until 8 weeks later (after numerous phone calls) I still have not received the crib sheet or hamper (which now has expected ship date of 4/30/08!) or the valance which has expected ship date of 6/2/08!! This is extremely unacceptable, especially since this is for a nursery (the baby will most likely be here in about a week!) Needless to say, I am very disappointed and do not plan on ordering anything from jcp again!

You need some way to express in your initial ordering format that a gift certificate was applied and subtracted from the order. I e-mailed to find why it was not listed on my invoice that was e-mailed to me. I waited a day and then telephoned and got it explained to me that the gift certificate would be taken off on my billing. So I was satisfied. But it took the folks online several more days to write me an e mail saying the very same thing. So I would have been very anxious about the whole thing if I had not telephoned to find out about it.

I was able to find what I wanted really fast. JC Penny had several sets to choose from in several different price ranges. Customer Service answered ALL of my questions about the Gold flatware, really, really fast! I received notification about the same time I received my answers from Customer Service, that a sale was going on, and so I was able to take a substantial amount off of the flatware I ordered! I was extremely thrilled with the service. Then, the Gold flatware showed up on my doorstep a couple days before I was expecting it, even though I did receive an e-mail notification that it was on its way. And, what a beautiful set of flatware!! Yes, this was a total 10 STAR experience!!! Thank You JC Penny's!!

I was pleased with the selection and received the order promptly and was quite satisfied with it.
The only "concern" to note is that the item was also supposed to be available in the local store (it was advertised but the store was completely out of stock). The store price was lower than the catalog price (by $10.00) and I had to pay for shipping. For future reference, it would be nice if the best of the two prices could be given.

I had ordered a women's summer top but received women's plus flannel pjs. The item has still been charged to my credit card plus it cost me to send the pjs back. I have asked to be refunded the cost of sending the item back as it was clearly not what was ordered but to date this has not occurred.
I have recently ordered again through JCP.com. If there is a problem with this order similiar to my previous order I will not shop again and will advise my friends of the problems. Additionally, if I do not receive a refund on my credit card, or am reimbursed the postal cost for shipping the unordered item back I will not shop at JCP.com again and will advise friends/colleagues of my experience.

I shop with jcp.com frequently and am rarely disappointed. I particularly like the free shipping offers they have been giving these past few months. However, I recently received a free shipping offer that applied only if it was shipped to the store - that is a 45 minute drive from my home and does me no good at all. I'd like it better if their free shipping offers applied to everything ordered and not just certain items. I don't mind having to spend a particular amount to qualify (something reasonable like $50 - $75); but hate having to search through all the fine print to see what product purchase qualifies and what doesn't.

I had a problem with a manufacturing defect in my first set of drapes and I was amazed at the speed with which their customer service had a replacement pair on it's way to me....called CS on a Thursday and had my replacement drapes on Saturday morning. That, I think, is about the best one could want in customer service.
