the site doesn't not make it easy to shop. Once you have put your order in you can't recall. Also I shop by category and men's shoes ended up in the women's category so then I was sent men's shoes and had to pay to return them. Also, clothes that come from some country have an extra excise tax which we don't find out until we get our merchandise. There should be an * stating if purchased by Canadians an extra 6.1% excise tax will be added. I would not buy does products. When I did call to tell jcp that the men's shoes were in the women's category I was treated as if I was from another planet. I am not impress with customer service - Also the box that was shipped to me said it weight 22Kg which is about 45 lbs really only weight 7kgs which is about 15 lbs but I was charged the shipping on the 45 lbs which is a complete rip off. I know it only weighed because I had the lady at the post office weight it in front of me. I consider this action stealing. Sincerely, Joanne Summers

This was/is the most rediculous purchase I've ever made. I ordered the chest of 02/22/08. 3 weeks later, I schedule the delivery, sat around waiting, for them to deliver a large box. The box had a couch in it, not a chest!! So I had to go through customer service, have it reordered, credit and debit my card again, and wait another 3 weeks, all the while this couch sat in my entry way at the house. Last week, I scheduled another delivery, waited around 9.5 hours for it to be delivered, for them to deliver it with no leg on one side. So once again, I'm waiting for it to be reordered and charged again, all the while, this chest is sitting in my entry way again! Rediculous.

I ordered 2 JCP Bigger cotton blankets and instead received 2 of the cheaper blankets - the incorrect items - with the correct item numbers on them. The lady at the catalog desk was nice but I had to find the correct items in the store so she could re-order for me. The store carried the items but they did not have them in white. She did take care of everything but I thought it was very poor that I had received the wrong items to begin with. I spent an hour getting it corrected at the store.

it wasnt jcp's fault it was st johns jcp resolved my problem so far but still dont have the jeans jcp contacted them and was told it has been shipped ( the day they contacted them ) we'll see when I actually recieve them .keep in mind they were ordered 2/24/08 and it's 4/5/08 now!

JCP is one of my favorite merchants. I have shopped with them for yesrs. I love their "home" items and am very happy with their quality. The clothing has now gotten more expensive and I am less likely to buy clothing items.

My order was held for two weeks and would not have been shipped or filled even though I had received a confirmation copy. And the merchandise was a dissappointment after I waited 3 weeks to get it. I returned it, Somehow my order was delayed due to a promotion code error- although I received a confirmation that give the total of the order and it confirmed the order had been placed. If I hadn't called the order would not have been placed and I would still be waiting. This is my only bad experience and It was a pleasant one - not any part of it. I will probaby shopped at JCP.com again as I usually place an order a month. But this one is still unbelievable to me and I was very very very very mad at the time.
