No customer service at JCPenny

Customer service is horrible at JCPenny. I purchased a recliner a few months ago and the back falls almost to the floor when tyring to recline. I have emailed and called customer service and no one has come to replace or fix it or even look at it. Calls and emails are not answered. When I called today, they said it has not been a week yet since I last called and have to wait until then for a response. When I called that last time, they told someone would contact me in 24 to 72 hours. Hmmm, I thought there were more hours in week than 72. I have been living with this recliner in a broken condition for a couple months now and just want it fixed or replaced.

The product was just as expected. The price on line was much better than in the store, would gladly buy from JCP again, and tell friends to do so as well. The item was not in stock at the time of order, but it did arrive earlier than stated at the time of order.

It was ok. The ad was deceiving that indicated free shipping on orders of $75 or more. It was only on selected items that you could receive the free shipping. I only ordered one item that qualified. After I read the fine print, I realized it was only a qualified purchases. The LARGE print NEVER indicated that. It's a gimic, which I will NOT fall for again.

all items back ordered at least 2 weeks they charge a sales tax when other online stores dont!!! ,this will be the last time I shop online with jc pennys online,customer service not helpful!On other items the back orders were for a month or more and the merchandise leaves something to be desired,it all looks like cheap knock-offs from China!!but what really gets me is the gall to charge an online sales tax which the tsate of Colorado will never see it just goes into the company pocket,stay away from jc pe3nnys online!!!.

QUALITY OF PRODUCTS POOR; OF 5 WINDOW SHADES I PURCHASED ONLY 2 WERE USABLE; 3 WERE BOWED AT THE TOP AND WERE RETURNED. THE 2 PART CURTAIN ROD WAS MISSING THE ROD AND 1 SET OF WINDOW SHADE BRACKETS WAS MISSING.

On 3-5-08 I purchased 3 pair of shoes totaling $58.02. I only needed to return 2 pair due to fit. There was a discrepancy with return of the shoes. Store had #35.27 and the catalog had $42.80. (Excluding shipping fee) Nevertheless I end up returning the 3rd pair of shoes due to pure dissatisfaction with the online experience. So I ended up paying $7.25(shipping) for a bad experience, but a well learned lesson. I have all so canceled all other online purchases, because it is not clear with returns. Please update your return policy that is posted on you website so no other customer will ever experience this "mess".

Items were not shipped by promised delivery date. Items shipped 15 days after given ship date. I had to call to find out what was going on. Customer service rep was rude and didn't seem to care. One item was not in the greatest condition. I will NOT order from JCPenney.com again!

The shipping is already high enough to Alaska and I get no real break for having it shipped to the store, so I for the conveneince I have it shipped to my house. Overall good experience. Did have some difficulty finding an item online that I had previously viewed. Apparently when you do a search for "Waverly" in window coverings not all items appear. This meant spending a lot of time trying to find similar items and see if the desired item appeared as a "You might also like........" listing. Finally located and it had "Waverly" in the title--not sure why it wouldn't come up with the search. Also, shipping is a bit high so picked up the items at the store with still a significant charge for handling. Prefer to shop in-store.

the site doesn't not make it easy to shop. Once you have put your order in you can't recall. Also I shop by category and men's shoes ended up in the women's category so then I was sent men's shoes and had to pay to return them. Also, clothes that come from some country have an extra excise tax which we don't find out until we get our merchandise. There should be an * stating if purchased by Canadians an extra 6.1% excise tax will be added. I would not buy does products. When I did call to tell jcp that the men's shoes were in the women's category I was treated as if I was from another planet. I am not impress with customer service - Also the box that was shipped to me said it weight 22Kg which is about 45 lbs really only weight 7kgs which is about 15 lbs but I was charged the shipping on the 45 lbs which is a complete rip off. I know it only weighed because I had the lady at the post office weight it in front of me. I consider this action stealing.
