The product shipped out the day I ordered it and I received it within 3 business days. However, it would have been nice if I could have had the option to choose which carrier ships the product. UPS shipped the product and I couldn't have the driver leave the package and I had difficulty actually getting the product. No fault by J&R Music. If the option was available I would have chosen Fedex because they will leave the product as requested for a customer and I wouldn't have to drive across town to pick it up after 3 failed attempts to deliver.

The item I ordered was out of stock. I didn't know that, though, because I was allowed to submit my order in it's entirety AND THEN have to wait two days to get the e-mail.

I also wanted to change the name on the shipping address. I was unable to do so without speaking to the most unfriendly representative. I called right after submitting the order, but she couldn't help me until after it had gotten through the system. I explained I couldn't call back because I was in Iraq, and had limited phone access. To that, I got "sir, we are experiencing high call volume, and I cannot do that".

Sorry you're too busy to take care of customers.

The final insult came when, in a separate e-mail, I was told that since I changed the ship-to name, I had to add that as a "secondary address" or some such rubbish on my bank card.

This place isn't worth the couple dollars you'll save. Consumer power; fight the rude!
