Captain Sim makes some of the finest aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. I Purchased the Flight sim X version of C-130 Hercules from Just Flight. I had no problems with the software and it arrived right on time. The icing on the cake is the price I purchased it for. I will continue to do business with J&R. I highly recommend them for your Computer needs. The on-line order process was quick and to the point. I received an email confirming my order. The companies return policy is clearly marked. From front to back this company takes care of their customers.

I recently used J&R to order a baritone saxophone ligature. What I receieved was laughably wrong, and will dissuade me from using J&R's services again. I receieved a box, which stated that the content was a tenor sax ligature. This was obviously the wrong order. What makes the order even more ridiculous is that the ligature looked more like a clarinet mouthpiece than a tenor sax mouthpiece.

I've used J&R for many photographic and stereophonic equipment purchases and have never had a problem.  I scour the internet using various shopping bots for the lowest price before I make a purchase and J&R is one of the stores that typically offers the best delivered price.

This transaction, like many before it, was perfect.  I was easily able to find what I was looking for on their web page, the order entry was simple, shipping was immediate, and the item delivered was exactly what I expected at an incredible price!

Shipping was free and the item arrived quickly - although the outer shipping carton was damaged and no longer sealed, the manufacturer's packaging of the item kept it protected. Not the first damaged package that UPS has left at my door. A quick and easy online purchase from J&R. I'll shop with them more often after this positive experience.

I ordered a Sennheiser IS410 Infra-Red Stereo TV Listening Headphones System from J&R. When it arrived, it had noise and hissing on one channel, so I sent it back. Since it was on backorder, it took a couple of weeks before I received a "new" unit. It arrived, and - surprise - it was the same defective unit, which I had marked (just in case) before. Needless to say, I am thrilled... I won't make the mistake and order from them again.

The product arrived on time and it was in perfect condition; however, it was shipped to me in the USA with a 240 V European power cord.  I immediately notified Customer Service and I was connected to Scott at X1024, who arranged to ship me the necessary adapter device (Item Code: FRN NWG3C) at no further cost to me. I received the adapter yesterday.  THANK YOU SCOTT!!!  Apparently the product, a Pioneer DVR-560H-S was manufactured for overseas distribution, which I learned from Scott.

I have made a few purchase for J&R over the years. The products have always been recieved in excellent condition.

My only dissapointment on this order was the amount of time that it took to actually ship the items, 3 business days for items that were supposed to be in stock.  Since I opted for the free shipping maybe they thought I wasn't in any hurry to get my new computer system.  I'm not that complacent, I'm just cheap.

The ordering and delivery procedure went very smoothly.
I used the aluratek the first time and it worked very well. The second day of use while running Aluratek I got the blue screen of death. My machine froze up and I could not recover.
When using my recovery disk I could not get to the point to use the windows recovery.
Had to install a new hard drive and reinstall everything else.
Needless to say I am hesitant to use the Aluratek again.
I have reformatted my original hard drive so I may get up enough courage to try again.
I can't really say the Aluratek caused the stoppage because I don't know.

I live in New York area and have been shopping at J&R Music for many years.  I ordered this product over the phone and requested to pick-up at the store the next day.  Customer service rep. on the phone was excellent and had good knowledge of the product.  I had done a price search for this product online and he was also able to check with a manager whether they could match the price of another retail store.  Sure enough, they matched the price.  He promptly sent me an email with the confirmation number.  The next day I went to the store and picked up the desktop.

It was easy to order online,  it was delivered within a few days without paying extra for speedier shipping options.  I was very happy with my overall shopping experience and would definitely go back to J&R next time I'm in the market for something they have.

The product itself is only OK, but great for the price.  My online purchase was very, very easy and one of the fastest I've done.  The delivery speed of the product was incredible, and exactly as described.  Getting a nice email asking to do a survey is great customer satisfaction, and my overall happiness is through the roof with the purchase process.  Again, the headphones I bought are descent enough, but I'd probably just pay more for something better.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Philips DVDR3475/37 DVD Recorder with HDMI unit.  I bought it because of the terrific price offered by J&R but did not expect more than average performance.  To my surprise and delight the unit is much better than expected.  I had read so so reviews online but do not agree.  A lot of people complain about slow loading but I did not find this to be a problem.  The unit has worked flawlessly for me for the couple weeks I've had it and I've already recorded about 20 movies and they look great.  I guess one day I will replace it with a Blue Ray recorder once their prices come down but for now this is fine.

When I searched on price for my iomega eGo, J&R had one of the better prices -- even when factoring in shipping. I had never shopped with them before, so I hoped I wasn't taking too much of a risk in buying from them. Not to worry! They sent a prompt confirmation of my order, and I had my new drive within a week. Not only that, they included a letter outlining their commitment to customer service and assuring me that if I had any problems whatsoever, I could call them toll-free anytime. To be honest, I'm not really happy writing this review, but I feel like I should express my experience. My friend ordered from JR.com once before and the item came fine so I was pretty confident when I ordered from them. I placed my order on 8/4/2009 and then I waited for about a week, given that my friend's order arrived promptly in five days, I was slightly concerned about the hold up so I emailed JR and got a canned response back ("Thank you for your letter. We're sorry to hear about the problem.... etc") I did find out that the order shipped on the 7th, unlike what the web site said (the 4th) so I was prepared to wait another couple of days for it. Three to four days passed and I still didn't recieve my item and so I emailed them again, getting another canned response (in fact, the same one). To this day, my item has not come. This may or may not be JR.com's fault (possibly lost in the mail) but I'm pretty unhappy with how this all played out.

I had a good experience shopping online at J&R Music and Computer World Online Store. I was shopping for a VCR/DVD player that had the correct type of component output plugs to match my older Tv set in my motorhome. The player also had to be a certain size to fit into the cabinet over the dashboard. The descriptions on the web page were thorough and assured me that I was buying one that would work correctly and fit correctly. The shipping was very fast and the package was well protected with plenty of bubble wrap to ensure that the player would arrive without any damage. The website was easy to navigate, had secure ordering protocol and everything went smooth. The VCR/DVD is a Sony which I'm familiar with, having other Sony equipment in my home. This Sony was remanufacured but appears to be new. The audio and video quality upon playback is excellent. After doing an online price comparison, I found that J&R offered this item for substantially less than other sites. (It was around $99 instead of $119.) I called to place my order, to see how quickly it could be delivered, since I live in NYC. The clerk was helpful and well-informed, and when he was not able to get it to me by the weekend without charging for expedited shipping (because I was placing my order too late in the day), he lowered the price for me by $5.  The fan arrived quickly and I was very pleased with the whole experience (and the purchase!).

I'd been watching sale prices for a while and this was the best I'd seen for HP.  The shipping charge was reasonable - I hate places that offer a very low price and then charge $45 dollars to deliver a reasonably small and light package - and if arrived in 3 days.

I ordered a PS3 and Sony TV. JR had the second best deal on the TV after hours of looking around. A shipping confirmation seemed to take a day longer than it should have but the  order did ship from NY to AZ in just a week. Their shipping company they used sent me an Email to schedule delivery according to my schedule. Everything arrived in perfect condition.
