I ordered a camera from these guys 5 days ago using an American Express credit card that was billed overseas. The website is not helpful at ALL for international cards - when you click 'international billing address', it still shows you only US and Canada as billing options. 
Anyway - I decided to call them. Apparently, I was supposed to send them a copy of my credit card and ID by fax - front and back! Now this was scary, but I did it anyway because I trusted J&R. 
4 days went by, nothing happened. I called them, and was transferred to their credit department. Now the credit department can be described as disinterested at best. I have made several calls to them and American Express overseas. They tell me that the card has been approved - but JR wont ship it until they can verify the shipping address as an 'additional address'.
The process is tedious and cumbersome. And most importantly, they dont tell you upfront that this is what the process is. You have to follow up consistently with the credit department, listen to sarcasm and feel like you're a credit card fraudster and try to convince them that it is indeed you.
I have some pride and dignity, and very little time to keep calling their credit department - Im never ordering from here again.
