This website popped up during a price comparison search. I had never heard of this company before as I do not live on the East Coast. I was leary of ordering but they did offer the best deal. I have been very pleased. The order was processed accurately and quickly. I was kept updated on the shipping status and I received the product very quickly considering the distance. Very pleased.

When looking for a new coffee maker. I looked at many vendors for many different products. I had never bought from JR before, but immediately was attracted to the lowest price for the merchandise I was looking for. The buying experience from the website was easy and the product descriptions accurate. I was even more pleased with the speed of the delivery. I did not use customer service so I cannot comment on that, but if anything like th rest of the experience it would be great. I will definately buy from them again when looking for electronics or small home appliances.

My Over all experience in dealing with J & R Computer World was positive . I paid with a check and at first they were slow to realize that my check had cleared the bank and then when I faxed them a copy of the cleared check they sent my computer out the next day . I like how my Sales Rep gave me his extension number to reach him direct .My sales rep( Alex )was GREAT and matched a price on the same computer I had seen online and I was very happy about that !
He was very helpful also. I would definitely buy from J & R again and would recommend them to others. |

Excellent customer service, prompt delivery, the only time I had to return an item, the return ws handled quickly and fairly. Their prices are competitve, also A good place to shop.
My TASCAM DR-01 is a great little voice recorder, good quality recording device well-made and easy to use. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a portable device for recording talks or preformances. |

Very helpful customer service. Extremely satisfied with the service I have received from J&R. I had forgotten what I had ordered just 3 weeks before. It had to do with computer memory.. the customer service associate pulled up my last order, and verified if the item I was ordering was the same one that I now wanted to order again.. I was very surprised. I have never had a associate perform this type of service before.

The shopping experience was fine, but they have not provided me with the rebate I was entitled to by shopping thru Bank of America's site. They have stonewalled me and the Bank has been of no help. I was entitled to a 4% rebate. The bank says I bought through them, J&R denies this. Give the purchase was over $1,000 - the lack of credit is not a small thing. I would not order from this company again because they have not lived up to their part of the discount provided.

I ordered a computer from J&R while deployed to Iraq almost a year ago. The computer never showed up and their customer service department keeps running me around with policy changes for their insurance claims. If this was the last electronics store on the planet I would still recommend against shopping there.

They helped me out with the return of an opened laser cartridge I purchased in error, even though the seal was broken. I would have been out $140 but I was able to use that to purchase the correct cartridges.

I had purchased a Optoma projector from another online company but had terrible service. They confirmed the order but from that point on everything went downhill. They promised me the projector by the end of the week but I never received it even after 3 follow phone calls during the week. Empty promises. They even sent me an email that it was shipped but never provided a tracking number. Deception. It was never shipped because it was on backorder. I cancelled the order.
J&R is complete different. I order the projector over the phone on a Monday. That evening I received a tracking number and I receive the projector 2 days later - as promised!!! I paid just a little bit more but it was well worth it. I was completed satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them. |

I've been shopping with J&R for close to 2 decades for business as well as personal purchases and rarely have problems with them. Delivery speed is excellent as well as the accuracy of the online tracking. Customer Service is wonderful and do their best to resolve problems when they happen which is only occasionally. I recommend J&R to all my friends and co-workers. When I want something right away, I look on their site first before I shop around, and most of the time I return to purchase what I want. On a scale of 1 to 5 I give J&R a high 5!

I have not installed my computer because I am still waiting for the Windows 7 upgrade and cannot receive any information as to my order status from Gateway or their affiliate. I would not have ordered this product had I known
of the inability to obtain Windows 7 in a timely manner. If I had been advised by JR of this problem, I would have ordered another product. However, in all fairness, maybe JR did not know of the Windows 7 backlog in manufacturing and shipping. |

The packet of photo paper I ordered arrived in a timely fashion, but was packed in a shipping envelope that was padded but not rigid. The photo paper packet was bent and damaged. My email query to J&R resulted in a quick response, and a replacement order made that same day. I soon received another paper packet that was shipped in much more rigid packaging. The customer service I received from J&R was outstanding and which I very much appreciated.

I was looking for a set of Polk speakers so I searched Google to find suppliers that offered the best price on a pair. Polk speakers are "fair traded" so I didn't expect a big discount or a big difference between suppliers. Was referred to JR as having the best price and most reliable service and they performed accordingly. Price was right and delivery as they promised, with lots of communications throughout the process.

I use VersaCheck to pay my bills because my handwritting is getting worse as I get older. I noticed that I was running low on the blank check paper and started looking for some. I tried a local stationary store and they didn't have check paper for the VersaCheck software. I then went on line and found several places that did have it, but the price seemed a little high to me. I then checked the J&R Online Store and found VersaCheck paper and at a lower price than the other stores I had checked on the Internet. In addition, I happened to look up this site while they were offering free shipping. That made the cost of the VersaCheck paper I ordered even more desireable. I ordered the check paper and received it in a couple of days and packed very nicesly, so the paper was not damagaed in any way. I give J & R Music and Computer World high marks and would recommend them to anyone.
