Not bad for taking a chance with an unknown internet vendor. Goods were not quite as described, but close enough to not make a fuss. Minor damage - bent metal and such, but easily corrected by hand. Packaging for shipment could be better.  I would shop here again	Author's Rating:

I placed an order on 1/29 for a $400 luggage on their website. The order confirmation email states the luggage will ship within 2 business days. A week goes by and i have yet to receive the luggage. I call customer service and they inform me that the luggage is discontinued and therefore can not ship it. Would have been helpful to know up front instead of wasting a week waiting. The website was fairly easy to use. It appeared that there was a feature to compare products but I was never able to get it to work. I did receive an email with a tracking number but the email did not mention the merchant. Irvs only directly shipped 2 of 3 suitcases purchased. It was only after I contacted them by e-mail that they told me the last suitcase would come from the manufacturer. As of yet, I have not received it. I should have been told upfront that they didn't have enough in stock and been given the option of changing my order or going elsewhere. Irv's personnel contacted me to inform me of that and made a suggestion as to another piece of luggage that would match what I had just purchased. The merchanise shown on their website is out of date. EVen though the purchase was accepted and confirmed online, apparently the item I ordered was no longer even made.
