Ordered Thursday afternoon. Item shipped that same afternoon and arrived the very next day, even though I only paid for ground shipping. Items were as described. I would buy from Instaoffice again.

In Sept 2006, I ordered six dozen pencils from Instaoffice. Several months later, realizing I had never received the order, I contacted them via email. The first time, they promised that a customer service rep would contact me within a day or two. Didn't happen. When I contacted them a second time, I was told my order had been mixed up in a warehouse problem and would be mailed out the very next day. Three weeks later, I still had nothing. I have since contacted them two more times via email and have received no responses at all. They have had my money for over 6 months. I have nothing to show for it.

What a nightmare! I ordered an item from this company on February 28th because their website indicated that they had the item in stock. Two weeks later I called to check the status of the order because I had not received the item yet. Guess what?! They indicated that the item was backordered and they had no idea when it would be in. The website, however, still showed that they had 5 of these items in stock. I cancelled the order and was told it would take 7-10 days to get a refund. It only took them 2 days to charge my credit card but 7-10 days to reverse the charge?!?! Long story short, 2 weeks later, still no refund on my credit card and they said that it would take another 7-10 days. Nope, sorry! I called my credit card company and they are disputing the charge. Of course, the website still shows they have 5 of these items in stock. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MERCHANT!!

Terrible Customer Service. They shipped from 3 different places (all the same item) and shorted me 19 items. After about 6 weeks I got on their case and after I finally proved that I never received all the items they acted like it was just taking a while. Interestingly enough it came right away after that. They're fishy and I'd never ever ever ever buy from them again.

Great experience. Their price on a toner cartridge was about $8 more than Staples. I used the "Found a lower price" link they provided to report a lower price. Took about 2 minutes to fill out and submit the form. Four days later InstaOffice had dropped the price of the cartridge to a penny below the Staples price (and still offered free shipping, as did Staples). Ordered at the new low price on a Monday morning. UPS delivered on Tuesday.

Avoid Instaoffice by all means. Placed order for two scanners (site said they had 5), and both turned out to be discontinued. Without notifying me were going to send a substitute, until I called them for order status in the nick of time (I hope). If the switched product shipment went through I was told I would have to pay to send the unwanted item back. As it is, they say returning my money is going to take weeks!

My experience was terrible. They screwed up my order, and then would not make it right. I paid for overnight shipping and the items were shipped standard ground. They would not refund me and I had to pay shipping to return the items. Never use this vendor. There customer service is terrible.

I called to order pen refills, gave them the model of pen I have, they said ZPC 87012 is the correct refill for your pen.Paid $27.04 by credit card. The refills they sent are the wrong ones they will not fit my pens, 3 times too fat. I wrote to customer service. They wrote back that they would have those picked up at their expense and issue a credit. We emailed back and forth about getting the right refills. 1st email August 30, 06 today is October 10, 06 and nothing is resolved. I called and spoke to a customer service manager. She informed me she would not send a call tag for the items, would not take them back and issue a refund, because I couldnt remember the name of the person I ordered them from. I told her that I would contact the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs and she said she did not care. She was not taking them back. My Compliant is: Improper Selling Practices Non-Delivery of Correct Goods Misrepresentation Unhonored Guarantees or Warranty Unsatisfactory Service Credit/Billing Problems will not issue a credit.

Ordered a calculator over the Internet on September 1, 2006, charged processed to credit card same day. Called September 20, 2006 to inquire about non-delivery. They still hadn't shipped the product, after almost three weeks, however they confirmed they would ship on September 21, 2006.
It's now October 3, 2006, still no delivery in sight. I called again and was advised the calculator was shipped on September 21, 2006. I asked for a tracking number. They then confessed the product hadn't been shipped and confirmed it would be shipped October 4, 2006. Good grief! They just keep telling me what they think I want to hear. I have spent at least 1 hour on the phone dealing with this order. I will never deal with this company again. |

Never again!! I wish I had read the reviews on these scam artists before I placed an order. I made a purchase on June 5, 2006. Still no merchandise 3 weeks later. Called them and was told it was on backorder for another 1-2 weeks (it was supposedly "in stock" when I ordered). Called 2 weeks later... "on back order for another 2 weeks". Enough was enough. I cancelled my order. As other reviews have said, they claim it takes 6-8 weeks to process the credit (which is a load of you-know-what). Well, its been 8 weeks now. Still no credit. I had to finally hand this off to my credit card company. I'm glad its their problem now. I will NEVER, EVER order from these guys again at any price!! I urge others to avoid InstaOffice (and InstaWares) like the plague.

Avoid these people at all costs! I ordered six cases of product when their web site indicated they had 27 cases in inventory. I paid via PayPal and waited. And waited. After two weeks there was still no shipping/tracking information, so I started emailing the company for an explanation. No response. Telephone communication was virtually impossible. In the end I got my money back (after about 6 weeks!) but only then because I filed a complaint with PayPal. And believe it or not, their web site still shows the product in inventory! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

After ordering a space heater and returning it within 48 hours, InstaOffice informed me I'd have to wait 2 billing cycles before receiving a refund. That was 3 months ago. I still have not received a refund and have contacted the Better Business Bureau. When looking at BBB's website, InstaOffice has over 7 complaints in the last 36 months, most of which, are still open. I highly recommend everyone to go elsewhere unless you want to just give your money away!

I placed an order on 1/13/06. They promptly charged my credit card. After two weeks I called to see where my order was. They told me It has been out of stock for sometime and they did not have any plans to re-order. I asked why they took my order or did not notify me of this and all they could say was sorry. Now they tell me I have to wait 2 billing cycles(how ever long that is) to get a refund. This is totally unacceptable. I will never purchase from them again. |

This is the 2nd time I order from InstaOffice..the first time was a month ago..and not only did they have the lowest prices..but they also delivered very quickly..and no S&H fees, and no taxes.
I was surprised to get my order so quickly..and delighted, as I really needed the items.. well, again...they have the best or lowest prices..again no S&H..and no taxes.. This will be my new No.1 place to order office items from.. |

I ordered some office supplies from them on Sunday night. Here it is, Wednesday evening and the order has still not shipped according to their web page. On Tuesday afternoon I sent them an email asking why the order had not shipped yet, I still have not heard from them.
As I write this review, I have been on hold for 32 minutes trying to talk to their customer service. This is my first time trying this company, so far I am not in the least bit impressed. |
