I had to get a gift for my sister-in-law and saw the advertisement for the lantern candles in Real Simple Magazine. I could find them no where on the Web site. I made another order and sent them to Texas. I have no idea if they have been received.

This was my first purchase at Illume candles. The website layout was great. I was upset that one item I tried to purchase wasn't available and the site didn't tell me until after the whole order was placed. It then did not correctly adjust the total after removing one item. I called and emailed Illume directly and received a phone call back. Service was good. The woman was apologetic and still waived the shipping (even though the one item removed put me over the minimum to receive free shipping). As for tracking, I was just about to call to follow-up when my shipment arrived. It took about 1 week (not bad from CA to MA), but I just wanted to know when to expect it. It would be great if Illume provided automatic tracking information rather than have a customer inquire about the number to track. I received my shipment in good condition. I did like the matchbooks. They are the perfect gift. I was disappointed in the 2 candles I ordered. I didn't like the scents - they were too purfumy. I probably won't exchange because I don't want to pay for shipping (candles together worth $14). So, I'm not sure if I'll purchase again or not. If I'm looking for a novel gift, I would at least shop. I probably would not order another fragrance candle without having the ability to smell it first.

I haven't gotten my purchase yet, but I must clarify that it is the fault of UPS, not this vendor. According to UPS's tracking, I should have received it yesterday (Wednesday), but for some unexplained reason, the tracking now claims that I won't get it until Monday. Otherwise, this vendor is great.

Illume Candles is a great and wonderful customer service and high quality company!!! I would completely recomend this to anyone who likes candles as much as I do... I have referred some people to them from purchases I've mad and they love the products!!! If you haven't gotten anything from them, don't pass it up, and as customer service goes they are completely wonderful to deal with, and they are willing to work with you on personalized things such as gift baskets and things of that nature!! Check them out!

Very easy to shop online. If and when you have to call they are very helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing I would like to see them add is an automated Email of your tracking number, although all you have to do now if shoot them an Email and they send you one back in a couple hours. Very good store. I Highly Recommend!

The company does not notify you of the tracking number without you specifically requesting it in a separate email. This is not an acceptable practice. Also the order number was not given in the acnowledging email so that you could request the tracking number.
