All in all, happy with the merchandise. Disappointed that the flatware had 12 place settings, and the dishes 8. Also, some of the gold rimming on the dishes was not quite complete.

I have been a Horchow shopper since the beginning - even back when it had another name (the Kenton Collection? It was so long ago, I can't even remember for sure!). I have always ordered over the phone from the catalog received in the mail, but this time I decided to try on-line shopping because I didn't have a catalog handy but remembered seeing several fireplace screens in recent catalogs. I was pleased to discover how easy it was to place my order on-line!

Product was delivered, but no tracking in place to ascertain that it has been shipped out or what the status of delivery was. This was a direct contradiction to the confirmation e-mail I received that said I would be alerted of delivery status.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I got the tracking information email on the day that the items were delivered to me. That didn't help me much.

I have not received either purchase yet. I am not particularly pleased with the lack of information regarding the status of my orders. I got immediately confirmation of the order and then nothing for a couple of weeks, until the items were shipped. There should be notification that the order will take some time to fill or that there is a delay....

Easy process. I don't understand, however, why some products are still listed when they're always unavailable. I've been trying to order the monkey design bedding but it always says unavailable. If it's never going to be in stock it should be removed from the site.

Attempted to take advantage of email discount offer; promotional code not accepted; connected on-line w/representative in real time chat; within 5 minutes, with her guidance, I was able to use different promotional code and receive the offered discount. Item on back order currently, but the assistance was awesome. Painless. A delight.
