Forewarned is forearmed. I'd like to share information that would have been helpful to me in advance of placing a HomeClick order. I've gathered these facts as things have gone from bad to worse with my order.
HomeClick is located in New Jersey, and the NJ Office of Consumer Affairs (Phone 973-504-6200) can tell you the number and nature of formal complaints they have received against this company. Call before you decide to purchase. After a lot of complications, I finally reached Randy Becker, who is head of Home Click and Home Decor Products, Inc Customer Service at 732-412-9540. I don't know what I would have done without this contact and it took a lot of time to get it. I hope this can help you. Each of the 3 companies I contacted (the products I ordered were Danze, Grohe, and Hansgrohe) as my HC shipment dates kept pushing back could tell me exactly what was in their warehouses and what dates other items were due to arrive. This information would have helped me know HC was supplying inaccurate dates. Many people report that it is almost impossible to reach HomeClick after an order is placed. Often you will be promised written confirmation or that someone will "get back to you" I had 5 completed calls out of 20 attempts. None of these contacts resulted in useful, accurate information. So, be prepared to write letters to expresss your concerns. HC is a division of Home Decor Products, Inc. The HDPI website will give you this company's address in Somerset, NJ, and will list other executives and Board Members in addition to Jonathan Bernstein, CEO of all  HDPI divisions. HomeClick will provide none of this information. If you have a need to write, you will need these names and this address. Again, don't forget Randy Becker, Head of Customer service. Hdpi is also his address./>If you decide to order, be sure to ask for an explanation of canceling a late order. If possible, get a written promise that you will not be charged. If not, listen carefully to how the representative words the answer to this. Inquire how they determine how long items will take to ship. Do they call the supplier? How often do they get products from the supplier? Get this in writing, if possible.
Count the total cost you will save by ordering from HC as opposed to ordering from another e-merchant with a higher rating. My online order indicated many items would ship on 2-18. On 2-17, each status changed to "shipment delayed." I hope the contact information helps some of you. It took me forever to finally get a person, Randy, who could assist me. Good luck..
