I made two orders from HomeCenter.com. Both times I purchased Ginger Co. bathroom hardware, which was shipped directly from the manufacturer. I invoked their 110% price guarantee, which they honored after checking the competitors website for price and availability (while I waited on hold). I received the product in approximately 1 week. I would order from them again.
I was not overly impressed with their website. It helps if you know exactly what product you want before you find it on their website. I had to request a tracking number after ordering. I placed the order over the telephone (because of the price guarantee). The sales staff were pleasant to work with. I picked HomeCenter.com because of the generally favorable reviews it had received on Epinions and other review sites (as compared to two other online retailers I was considering). |

Order Accuracy: excellent when I entered the info, but their live help made mistakes.
Delivery speed: Excellent Customer Service: Live help was pretty rude, lacked any information beyond the website, and filled order inaccurately. Website: Easy to navigate. Was disappointed that they would not include my review of the Legend sink that they promote, probably because it was not entirely favorable, yet, important for future buyers to have this info. |

Horrible on product description and returns. I ordered a sink which according to their instructions, should have been fine for my size cabinet. However when the granite installer came, it turned out that the sink was too long front to back for a granite countertop (which by the way is really standard for an undermount sink). I would have had to order a deeper base cabinet to house this sink which was not specified anywhere!
So when I went to return the sink, they charged me the restock fee AND when they got the sink they claimed it was dented and could not be restocked. This is a $500 sink. so now I am out the cost of the sink plus the shipping it cost me to send it back. I mailed that sink back using the same carrier and the exact same packing materials. In fact, I never even took the sink out of the original packaging - only the template. This company is making up stories to not return items. I would not order from them again. |

ordered 4/28, received air gap on 5/6 i good condition; still have not received faucet. No tracking information provided. Called toll free customer service number - they don't have access to tracking information and could not tell me if faucet has been shipped or when I might expect delivery. I expect tracking information to be provided without having to ask, and I would expect customer service to be able to tell me if item has been shipped.

Web site had incorrect information about about the gauge of stainless steel sink.

Homecenter.com sent me a toilet seat that was of lower quality and different shape and dimensions than the one illustrated on their web site. Ky Nguyen, the owner, would not provide a refund or replacement because he claimed they were not responsible for their illustrations, which came from their supplier. After 4 weeks of phone calls and email messages, Ky finally agreed to provide a refund for a different reason, that the bag on the toilet seat was not sealed when I received it. However, I would have to pay the shipping charge and a 4% credit card fee to return the seat. I did not return it because Homecenter's supplier, Eljer, sent me the correct toilet seat at no charge when I complained directly to them, no thanks to Homecenter.com.

I found the faucet I wanted online at HomeCenter.com for $200 less than the retail price at Home Depot Expo. Ordering was simple and straight forward. I tracked the order through the email notifications from HomeCenter.com and then through the links they provided to UPS tracking. My item arrived on time and in excellent condition. I am so excited to get my new kitchen faucet installed (after my new granite counters are in place)! I would shop HomeCenter.com again in the future.

My only disappointment with with order status. I'm still waiting for one item and tried to check the status online, but it doesn't give any information other than what was ordered. Seems I'm going to have to call to inquire.
