I finally cancelled my order after 2 months of waiting. This merchant needs to be better at keeping track of the status of the orders and managing their vendors/manufacturers. What I heard consistently when I called to check on my order was that was "the manufacturer said it would be delivered a week ago, but we haven't gotten it yet."

While undergoing a major kitchen remodel, I needed to locate some custom items with hopes of getting a great price. Service and timely delivery was also a big concern as my contractor was already underway and needed my items as soon as humanly possible.

Do not waste your time buying from a company that does not deliver on their promises or respect their customers. I ordered 2 medicine cabinets in early December and my credit card was charged immediately. The units did not arrive until the end of January, I would have been happy if that was the end of the story. They both arrived with broken mirrors. I have been trying to get a replacement ever since, they don't answer the phone, it goes to voice mail. They do not respond to emails. They make promises and then never fulfill them. It is now March 7th and they have not sent replacements even though they have promised to and I have not been able to get a response from them in 2 weeks. Overall a tremendous waste of time and money. This was a completely aggravating experience. If you are expecting a refund forget it, the only way to get your money back is to dispute the charge with your credit card company.

I purchased an item from Home Annex in Aug 2007. It took me until December to get an RGA number to return it. This is clearly a shady company that preys on the customer. I can't tell you how I was jerked around and after returning the product in December they would not credit me until March. I spent so much time writing e-mails to managers, calling and being pushed around. This company preys upon it's customers, making returns so difficult and hoping you will give up. After more than 6 months of trying to return a simple item, they charged me a 25% RESTOCKING fee not disclosed in their return policy. A majorly dishonest company. DO NOT RISK THIS HAPPENING TO YOU - BUYERS BEWARE! Don't be fooled by the fake reviews this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I have had a lot of problems with receiving my products and with getting the right items. The only reason why I still deal with this company is because of a representative by the name of Riki Kong. HE has been so amazing and has completely turned the experience around. Any problems I've had he's always gone out of his way to solve them for me. I've really appreciated this. This company is lucky to have such a wonderful employee.
The products I've ordered once I finally got them were good quality products and the prices were great. I'm a Canadian and the one problem I find is that if you have been sent a wrong item or you have not gotten everything you thought you were going to get( the pictures and descriptions can be very misleading and the customer service usually does not know anymore than you do because there are so many products)it get very expensive with the shipping costs and the brokerage fees. So if you want to order from this company be very sure you know exactly what you are getting when you place your order. |

This is the worst experience I've ever had with on-line shopping. When I ordered the "sales-person" said it would ship in 2 weeks. Two day after I ordered, I needed to cancel the order and low and behold it could not be cancelled. I then asked them not to ship the order so at least I wouldn't have to ship it back. Not possible they said, which means I must pay for re-stocking plus shipping it back once it arrives. I would never recommend using this company or any company that does business with this company.

Nightmare. Said they had items in stock. BEWARE - once they have your credit card number, you're at their mercy. It took 4 weeks to receive my item (was supposed to be rushed in 3 days), and customer service is rude & does not tell the truth. AVOID.

Delivery Speed: Excellent, received in 4 days from order
Order Accuracy: Excellent Customer Service: Very Courteous and Understanding When I received the shower enclosure, the right corner of the box was torn open, such that a piece even fell out when I carried it to the car from my office. After my husband and I studied over the parts list, I called Customer Service and told them four pieces were missing. I told her I would send an email with the missing pieces circled on the installation sheet, the packing list and 3 pictures which showed the contents and the box as I received it. She immediately called me back to let me know she received the email and was forwarding it to the manufacturer. She then called me back later that day and told me the manufacturer was shipping the parts out that day and I would have them Monday,(Next business day). And Monday, I received the exact four parts I had circled. I had already read the reviews on this site, and was worried when I saw that I had parts missing, but obviously my worries were unfounded. |

We live in British Columbia, Canada. We ordered 3 light fixtures on November 13, 2007. I have been in numerous conversations with numerous staff members at your warehouse. Eric for the initial order and an email on November 26 that informed us that the fixtures were delayed(but the funds had been taken off my Mastercard November 13), Jeanette on Dec 24, Kawana on Dec 27, Matt on Jan 3, John on Jan 21 (freight charges were to be reversed....still not done),Monica on Feb 4 and finally Kawana,again, on Feb 12. Still no lights but a lot of excuses and put offs. It was not until last week (Feb 13) when I was lucky enough to get Matilda Robson on the phone. She is trying to resolve this order. She has emailed me and kept me informed of the status of the fixtures. She is a keeper! After three months I am now hopeful that we will have the order in a couple of weeks.

In placing an order for some faucet accessories, Rob D (x225) was quite helpful. He was also not pushy and worked with me to find the right items. Delivery may be slower than I'd really expect (estimated two weeks). I assume the order will be accurate.

I ordered two Moen shower slide bars, which the website said was available. After ordering, I learned that they were not. Took two phone calls to get credited for the order. Ordered two Kohler slide bars. Received only one, damaged. Still waiting for the corrected order to arrive. I have had to make several calls to HomeAnnex to get information (why can't they email my order status/tracking number?).

I ordered an item from HomeAnnex on Jan 26th, after 2 weeks of not getting any word from them, I called to inquire about my order, they claimed that they needed more information (color of light shade). The Customer Service rep told me that the order would be placed today, when I asked for upgraded shipping since the delay was caused by them, she totally blew me off. She told me that she would complete the order and call me the next day to give me the tracking information, she never did. I finally called almost 3.5 later, and was given the tracking number. To call these people takes at least 15-20 min just to get to talk to a person, and then you are on-hold while they search for the requested information, do they not have computers or are they searching through the file cabinet for the information? I cannot recommend anybody use this company.

This is the worst company I have ever encountered. There appears to be no customer service staff capable of doing anything and not one will provide us with contact information (name or number) for a manager in charge. Furthermore, they have been dishonest with us repeatedly. We simply ordered a ceiling fan from this company with a promised delivery date to meet our contractor's schedule. Not only did they not meet that date, it was three times as long and when the fan finally came, it was damaged. That was in December. It is now almost March and we still cannot get a refund for the damaged fan we promptly returned. Not only has our project been significantly impacted, but we will also have to pay extra now because we will have to retain a contractor again.

I contacted HomeAnnex.com to order several expensive lamps. The customer service rep was rude and uncooperative. He seemed to be in a hurry. I did not make the order and will not deal with a company where customer service is such a low priority. I will search for the same products elsewhere.

All my contacts with the sales and customer representatives have been exceptional!!! Everyone has been pleasant, considerate and efficient. In my case they shipped defective product in rewrapped packaging. When asked for a return authorization (RMA), was directed back to their web site to fill out a form. Upon its submission, a weasel-worded email followed. It claims that they have to get an RGA number from the product manufacturer, which of course imposes more delay to accommodate that bogus process. All of this occurred back in early Dec-07 and a reply since then has not been forthcoming.

Two items were ordered from this company over a month ago. One was shipped and received 2 weeks later, the other never shipped. We were never notified about a new date, had to call customer service over 3 times (but never spoke to someone because was always disconnected after 15min of waiting on hold). When I finally emailed to cancel the second part of the order, I was told that I couldn't and would be charged fees!!!
Terrible customer service, don't even bother. Order from Faucet Direct or Discount Plumbing Supply, had a great experience with both of these companies. |
