DON'T BUY FROM HOME ANNEX. Sent wrong item (I don't even know what it is) Several days and many minutes on hold I am told they are looking into it and will call back HA-HA . I am contesting with credit card company and if you buy from them you will be too.

Watch out!!!! Customer service is non existent. Getting a refund for undelivered merchandise is virtually impossible. Repeated phone calls to customer service do not produce any results.

I purchased a lock for over $500.
First they only sent me one part, and tried to tell me the rest wasn't included, even though their ad clearly said it was. They finally sent me the remaining parts. They were for the wrong lock, which I had to find out from Baldwin directly. It is now 2 months later and they still have not resolved it. The wait for customer service is 1/2 hour each time and then they are confused and disorganized with no authority to fix anything. I would never, ever buy anything from this company again. I am just trying to get my money back by returning a very expensive purchase that through their fault is not useable. |

Very difficult to find the product I was looking for, but the prices were very good. I ordered on Sunday... the site says the products would ship in 1-2 days. Since I was in a bit of a hurry to get the products, I requested an update via their IM system... What a joke!!! The IM system doesn't work; it sends a message but you never get a reply! Thursday, I sent an email... no response. I also send another message via their IM system... (I'm a sucker)... you never speak with anyone. Friday... I sent another email and still no responses. Who the hell knows what is going on or if I will be getting my products!!

I had an excellent experience with 2 expensive faucets I ordered from Home Annex. They arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.(factory sealed boxes) Their web site told me when they were shipped. I ordered 2 more faucets & received an email yesterday giving me the date they will be delivered by UPS.(7days) I would definitely use this company again.

Ordered two replacement water filters on April 25. Was told they would ship in about two weeks. THREE months and several e-mails later (always "two more weeks") I've canceled the order but have still not received a credit (they charge your card immediately).
I had checked with the manufacturer and the filters were, and had been, available. Ordered though another site (homeandstone) and the filters were shipped within two weeks. I've also had good response from filtersfast.com If they have your item in stock, they might be OK. Ask before you place your order! |

STAY AWAY. This is the worst company ever. I have placed an order about 2 months ago and of the 6 items, only 3 were delivered (but they charge your card immediately). 1 was discontinued, and no one bothered to tell me until i kept calling... was finally credited after 6 weeks. I've had to return some items and they never credited my card even though they say they will "tomorrow", it's been 10 days since they said that. Another item was backordered and I was never told, and supposedly it's shipping out 2 months later but it's been 2 months and i still haven't received anything. Customer service is confused and unsupportive at all. I am never ordering again, even though they have the cheapest prices online- just to lure you in. Homeclick.com has similar prices (only 5% higher on most bathroom items) and is much better at returns/customer service.

HomeAnnex is great! Sure beats going to Expo or HomeDepot. Prices are great and no tax or shipping charges. Live Support was quick and helpful. My order arrived exactly on time as promised -- within one week! I highly recommend HomeAnnex. I will definitely shop here again.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE SWINDLERS!!! Customer service has lied to me about delivery dates and promised to e-mail a tracking number for MORE THAN SIX MONTHS!!! I purchased more than $1600 worth of fixtures from them, and all arrived with the exception of the most expensive item, but they refuse to come clean about if and when it will ever be delivered. I have asked for a credit to my credit card (they bill you whether they ship the item or not!)and have been told that it will appear within 3 days. I seriously doubt that it will, and have told them that if it does not appear within the said 3 days, I will immediately file a complaint with the Attorney General. One extremely dishonest company - STAY AWAY!!!

Horrible customer support. Emails went unanswered and rude telephone support. I was never told faucets were back ordered indefinitely. I only found this information out when I contacted the manufacturer of the faucet directly. Not worth the savings. Make sure you check out lead time before placing order. Buyer beware!

Boy, I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered through this company. The item I selected was at a lower price than some other on-line businesses, and lower than many local plumbing fixture stores. However, the problem was and is service. The delays keep coming, and the excuses to go with them. The Home Annex folks I have spoken with on the telephone admit that they do not know why there has been a problem in getting the item off the shelf and on the way to delivery. They twice have said that it will be a week to ten business days. No other company would say or do that. Three weeks later and I'm still waiting for the damn faucet. In fact after the one placed with Home Annex, I placed another item with a different company on-line, PlumbingProducts.com. It arrived in two days! They will get my business from now on, Home Annex aka DecorativeHardwareDirect.com will not. Caveat emptor!

I ordered a combo soap dish/toothbrush holder on 1/30/05. On 2/8 I asked for a status and was told my item would show in 10 business days. 11 business days later I sent another email and was advised that the item was on back order indefinitely. This online store STINKS. If you do a search on the item on dealtime, it shows the item is IN STOCK. What BS. I've since cancelled my order and am buying through Cape Cod Brass who said they item IS available.

Never stated the faucets would take 6 weeks to arrive! Buy from anyone else but this outfit. Price isn't everything. Faucets should have arrived in 3-4 days- After 3 weeks I called to find out they wouldn't arrive for another 3 weeks! No email to let me know the delay. Whatever- Pay a couple of bucks more and buy from faucetdepot.com or plumbingsupply.com - you will be glad you stayed away from these inconsiderate jerks.

when i called up homeannex their custemer service rep. mark was great he told me that what i wanted was in stock and some items were not they guided me threw all the products that i wanted and any questions i had they answered or got back to me within a day they saved me alot off money on my project for my house in the city.

Sold products without notifying me they did not keep them in stock.
No email notification of order status. The only info on "my account" in website is "order pending." One month and at least three phone calls later, I still do not have items. Customer assistance hold times very long. Almost one month after shipping, representative stated that he could not get me information on status of order because "shipping department is empty -- everyone is at lunch." When I called on a Friday, the message was that everyone had gone for a long weekend. This was not a holiday. Do not buy from this store! |
