Businesses managed like HomeAnnex should be illegal

I ordered two sinks in October. Twenty days ago I called (one more time) to check on the status, and they said one of the sinks was back ordered until Feb 07. I told them to cancel the order for that sink. They haven't credited my account yet, and they haven't shipped the other sink yet, despite all the sweet promises of the operators.
The moment I gave them my credit card number they said the shipment would take 14 days max. More than a month later I am still waiting. I wish I had read epinions first. I wouldn't have mind to wait if they have told me their time frame from the beginning, that way at least I could have planned accordingly. |

Do not order from this company, unless you like headaches and stress! Unfortunately I didn't read reviews on this store prior to placing my order! They are quick to charge your credit card, but slow to answer the phone and even slower to ship (if they ever actually do). Try getting a tracking number, impossible! One CS agent(Frank)told me it would ship the next day and arrive on the 6th, I hung up and called right back and was told the manufacturer was closed so they couldn't give me any shipping info. Did the first CS agent lie? I'm guessing YES! Shame on you Frank! Who knows if and when I'll see my product, in the meantime I'm looking for one from a more dependable and reputable store. I'm an online shopping queen and this is hands down my WORST experience ever! Stay away, stay far, far away, even if you have to pay more. I learned my lesson, the hard way....:(

Worst online experience ever. Placed my order on 10/27. Nothing said that some of the products weren't in stock. My bread machine came approximately 15 days later. However, the remaining three products which I was really wanting for Thanksgiving has never appeared.
I emailed them twice. Never did they respond. Today, I called three times and was put on perpetual hold. My cell phone went dead. On the fourth call, someone finally answered. He sounded as though I woke him up. After I explained to him what the problem was, he then put me on hold. He was probably finishing his lunch. After blaming his computer for my long hold wait, he supposedly looked up my account information. He said that the 'lead' time was 2-4 weeks. I reminded him that four weeks was up Monday. Could have sworn I heard him shrug. Finally, after some sparring back and forth, I canceled the remaining portion of my order. Will be interesting to see when I am credited or if this will turn into a battle. |

My experience at HomeAnnex was one of the best online experiences I have ever had. I was looking for some Hansgrohe items and didn't know if they came with the valves or not so I gave them a call. A salesperson named "Joey" told me that the items came with valves and they would ship them out right away. A few days later UPS showed up at my door and there was my delivery from HomeAnnex.

Ordered a bath tub filler and valve. I liked that they listed the correct valve with the faucet. But, once I place the order, I received one email confirmation of the order and then no further communication. After two weeks I called and was told they would ship that day. All items arrived a week later in fine condition. I just was not happy with the lack of communication.

I just received my purchase today. It was a small beverage fridge for my office priced about $10 less than competing sites. I had no problem with the seven day shipping time, but the package looked odd when I first saw it. It arrived in a plain brown box with a shipping label that had been affixed to the manufacturer's box and then CUT OUT AND TAPED to the plain brown box. I opened the shipping box and saw the beverage fridge sitting there in a plain plastic bag. THE MANUFACTURER'S BOX WAS NEVER SHIPPED. I was astonished. NO RECEIPT, NO STYROFOAM PACKING MATERIALS, NO PRODUCT MANUAL, NOTHING. The assclown who packed this SHIpmenT should be fired immediately. Can you believe this? I can't. I have no way of knowing if this is a factory new product. Now I have to call customer service tomorrow to get this thing returned. Judging from these reviews, it is not going to be a pleasant experience. Stay away from this place.

HomeAnnex is my new hero when remodeling our kitchen...
not only did HomeAnnex have the pot filler faucet I wanted, in the brand and finish I wanted (which is hard to find) but they had it in stock, no shipping charges, and less expensive than I was able to find it anywhere. If that wasn't enough, I had it in my hands in 2 days! I now will order another faucet to match from HomeAnnex, and would recommend EVERYONE who needs to find fixtures do the same. You'll be glad you did! |

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS (this is my first), BUT I MUST WRITE THIS ONE!!!
Terrible experience! My order was placed on 9/25 (and my card was charged then). After the order confirmation there was no further communication from them. I finally called several weeks later (on hold probably 20 minutes) only to be promised my fans the following week. Following week: no fans. Called again (endless hold). My three bathroom exhaust fans did not show up until 10/31.....and they were the wrong ones!!! Called again (hold, zzzzzz.....) and after a long process was told I would receive a return shipping authorization from the supplier within 7-10 business days and would have to place a new order to get the right fans. NO THANKS! I said I did not wish to place a new order with them and representative said simply "OK.' They must be used to dissatisfied customers. I immediately placed an order with Lowes.com and as for the return.... well, that saga continues. I think this is one of those websites that stocks nothing, takes your money right away and orders it from a "supplier." BEWARE! |

Ordered three lamps from HomeAnnex. Received two of three after five weeks. Still waiting on third after 9 weeks. No response to numerous e-mails to customer service. Have not tried to call - would be waste of time if other reviews on this site are right.
Update - 15 weeks total now - still no package. This may be HomeAnnex's business model - ship only two out of every three orders - and hope most dissatisfied customers give up. |

There are lots of great places to purchase from on-line but this isn't one of them. I received extremely poor quality merchandise and they make it extremely difficult to return it. I've never experienced anything like this. This was my first time ordering from Home Annex and will also be the last time. I received defective, poor quality merchandise and immediately requested a "return authorization number". I requested it first by filling out their web form and they emailed me and told me to call them. I called them and they told me they would email it to me. It's been over a week now and I called them again today only to be told they are working on it. I don't have time for this needless hassle. If you are not satisfied with your purchase you should be able to return it easily. Not so at Home Annex. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

I have ordered twice. The first product has a slight defect in it and was probably a second or return from the manufacturer. Since it was a small defect, I kept in in spite of the $290 price. Second order, tried to return based on return policy. Emails go unanswered, commitments to provide a Return Authorization and instructions not kept, and phone calls unanswered!! Notice all the bad reviews are by people who needed service, returns, and refunds. The good reviews are from those who had no problems....I would not use this shopping site EVER again. I am pursuing my refund through my Credit card company as a billing dispute.

I ordered and then had to return a sink drain from shopfranke.com which is at the home annex. No refund seen on the credit card bill 3 weeks later, I called to inquire about a refund. I had to call more than 5 times to get someone on the phone who knew even a little bit about what was going on. I confirmed the return of the item though UPS and after three weeks, they still didn't have any information about the return. The horrible customer service, the lack of knowledge of the employees, and the poor response time to even talk with someone on the phone,(waits of 20 minutes on hold were common) force me to strongly convince anyone to NOT do any business with this company. It may be easy to order your item, but if one iota of your thought process tells you that you may have to return it...DON'T USE THIS COMPANY...THEY SUCK!

Ordered one light fixture was billed for and shipped two. It took over a month to get this straightened out with the company. Every time I contacted customer service I was assured by very nice people that the problem was being handled-it wasn't.
I won't be ordering from this company again, too bad because they have a good selection of items. I just spent way too much time solving this problem. I order a great deal from on line vendors mainly because of the convenience and ability to compare products and prices. Customer service is one of the most important things to me. Home annex screwed up and seemed to have a hard time correcting my problem. |

I ordered with this company about a year ago.
They took almost five weeks to ship (Ginger corner shelves). I gave them a second chance, thinking there was just a glitch with the supply, so I ordered the same items again this year. Man, I wish I would have read these reviews before I made that mistake! I ordered June 26th - after endless, unanswered e-mails and two phone calls (I tried to call a few more times but gave up after 20 minutes on hold) the merchandise arrived October 13th! after I had just about given up. Three and a half months! They don't actually have a warehouse, I think, they just order whatever gets ordered with them. Of course selling everything so cheap and lets face it, that's why I ordered from them, they are absolutely broke and can't fill all the orders that come in. Remember NO warehouse. I consider myself lucky to have received anything at all. |

The showerhead did not fit, so I need to return it. After 3 calls to "customer service" and waiting 26 minutes on hold, they we accept the return with a 25% restocking fee. |

I accidentally ordered 2 Solis 90 SL espresso makers. I immediately cancelled through email. I called the next day to verify the cancellation and got a friendly service rep. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was concerned that I might not receive the product in a timely manner, but I ordered on 09/17 and received the item on 09/21! I was very pleased. The price was the lowest I have found, and with free shipping, no tax, and a 5% discount code, I saved at least $160.00! I will definitely give them a try again.

I was totally surprised to get a HansGrohe shower item delivered to my door steps in 4 days. When shopping on the web for this item, homeannex had the lowest price. Other retailers not only quoted higher prices but also had on average a 2 week lead time. I was very pleased with homeannex's performance.

This is the WORST experience I have ever had when ordering on the internet. I placed an order in early July for a plumbing fixture. When I had not received it 9 days later I phoned and was told it was not in stock, and would be shipped in mid August. My credit card had been billed already, even though they did not even have the item! I immediately cancelled it and asked for a refund. After more than a dozen emails and phone calls (and 52 days) I finally got my refund. I placed the order with faucets.com and received it two days later for only $5 more.
If you want to save $5 and get 7 weeks of aggravation then by all means use this company!! Me, I have learned my lesson! NEVER AGAIN!!! |

This company is a scam. They tell you everyday that your order will be shipped that day. If you cancel there is a 25% restock fee. If free shipment then you are also charged shipment both ways for returns (if you ever receive an order). They are trained to keep stalling customers as long as possible with untruths and down right lies.
Update. Wrong item sent and 2 weeks later I still do not have RGA number to return as they promised. Now they say return without RGA number. I know what that means. They will not give refund due to no RGA Number. They write a fake good review for every honest bat review. Do not trust the good reviews. They are lies by their own people. |
