Took my money, sent wrong part, lousy customer service, BEWARE

I ordered a faucet part and they charged my credit card that same day but after 10 days had heard nothing so I emailed to check on it. Only then did I find out that it was no longer available. They assured me that there was a replacement part that would work so I called to double check and then ordered it. After 3 weeks and hearing nothing from them I emailed to check on it. Then they said it would be shipped and a week later I did receive it.
Big problem though because the part they assured me would fit didn't fit! I emailed them and after no response for 3 days called them. They said I needed to ask for a return authorization number which I did. I told them that since it was not my mistake and the part did not fit although they had assured me it would that I did not think I owed them a restocking fee. They said they couldn't decide on that and I had to return the part first.
I now have received a return authorization number and instructions and they have told me that I must pay a 20% restocking fee! I emailed back and of course have received no response from them once again. I am about to call them again and see if I can actually talk to someone with some authority to talk to about the restocking fee. Otherwise I will just return the part and then contest the credit card charge.
Needless to say I will NEVER deal with the Home Annex again. They are incompetent, disorganized, and their Customer Service has no idea what service is about. They appear to be in business to take orders and charge credit cards and once they have the money they stop caring about the customer.
