The overall experience was fantastic and for the most part was at or above average. I didn't receive an order receipt conformation e-mail until almost 12 hours later. I also didn't receive a tracking number. The products are flawless and work perfectly.

I was contacted by a freight hauler to schedule delivery. I left work on the scheduled delivery day to be at home for the delivery, the hauler never came , I don't have any idea what happened or when I will receive my purchase.I should refuse the items, if they appear damaged I will refuse them.One thing for sure,I have all ready paid for the items and the delivery , there is no recourse. I should be paid for missing work due to an unreliable NEMF { the freight company}

Part of my order was late and I called support to find out the status but was put on hold for over 90 minutes. I never was able to talk to a representative or to find out the status of my order. No tracking number was sent with my email confirmation and therefore, I could not even contact the shipper for assistance. This was extremely frustrating and while placing the order was easy, tracking the shippment was not possible.

The order arrived as scheduled. The Miter Saw and Laser Attachment were OK. The Miter Saw Stand box was missing the Instruction booklet and the parts package containing two mounting brackets, two work support brackets, and fastening hardware. I spent two sessions of 45 to 60 minutes each on the phone before I was able to speak with a representative. When I finally got through, the representative was very helpful. He ordered a replacement stand and a pick-up for the one I had received with the missing parts. The replacement stand arrived as scheduled and in good condition. The pick-up has not been accomplished although it has been over one week since I spoke with your representative. And my credid card remains billed for both stands. I will appreciate your expediting the pick-up.

Order placed no problem. I was given an expected delivery date, however there was no tracking number given. On the delivery date, I tried to call Internet Customer Service (1-800-430-3376) several times, but no one ever answered the phone. I was on hold for over 20 minutes each time. The package did arrive on time. The box (original store display type box, not a brown shipping box) was ripped open on one side exposing the contents. It looked as if it was taped back together. Everything was accounted for and remarkably was not damaged.

At the end of the checkout procedure I was told I was already registered with Home Depot and must first login. I did that and re ordered. I received a shipping confirmation on that order. Ten minutes later I received two E-
mails confirming I was to receive Two Ice Machines. I then tried to cancel one order.. No way to do that... I then immediately called customer support and was on hold for one hour and fifteen minutes ( this was at eight PM on a Wednesday. EST ) I then called at nine AM on Thursday and after a fifty five minute wait was able to cancel one of the Ice Machines. At that point the Gentleman was very helpful. I asked why such a great delay and was told they just had a lot of calls. C'mon, Hire more staffers or don't bother.

I purchased gift cards online, I was contacted that the order could not go through without more information. So I called customer service, after holding for 1 hour,I gave the rep the information needed to complete the order. A week later, I still did not receive the gift cards. I called customer service again, waited almost an hour to speak with someone and was told the information I gave the other rep was never entered into the system. I will no longer order anything online from Home Depot, and am reconsidering shopping in their stores at all.

Overall, it was fairly good. The item did not ship out the next day - it shipped out the next week. Finding the hardware to go with the item (plain valance rods) was not easy - I never did find it online and ended up having to purchase it locally.

Went to cancel this order because found something else and the item was backordered you cannot cancel the order online you have to make a phone call. I was on hold for 45 minutes and was told I would get a call back in 72 hours. After no call in 72 hours I called to make sure it was cancelled and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes before I was even connected to a person and then they had the nerve to put me on hold for another 5 minutes. The experience was horrible and never will I order or go to Home Depot again.

I placed my order on 4/21 and all items were shown "in-stock" at which time I received a confirmation email.
I tried calling them on 5/1, 5/2, 5/3, 5/4, & 5/5 but gave up each time after waiting at least 25 minutes.
I sent an email to customercare@homedepot.com on 5/5 asking for an update on my order and never received a reply.
I tried calling again on 5/9 & 5/11, but after waiting 30 minutes, gave up.
I called on 5/16 and waited for 47 minutes for a CSR. Was told item was on backorder until June 6th.
This company has the worst customer service and store I have ever had the experience of using! I will NEVER use them again. NEVER!
