The product that is still showing on thier web site has been discontinued and no longer available. I had numerous emails with them prior to trying to purchase said item and not once did any one say the item was no longer available until I tried to purchase it. I had included the item number in all emails with them.

I enjoy shopping at Home Depot on line but one thing that I have found at Lowes that is an excellant feature is that if you purchase a product on line you can have it sent to the store of your choice and pick it up there for no cost of shipping to the customer. In buying the fan from Home Depot I didn't see that option. I paid alot for ups or fed-x to deliver and then I had to change the fan because it was to big for my space and so I had to send it back. So that was 20 bucks I wished I hadn't had to have spent. I would have gladly picked up the fan had it been delivered to the Centerville store. And I wished that I could have returned it to the Centerville store as well. Joan Tibbitts.

I have used many online vendors for a variety of products, both big and small. In the countless number of online transactions, purchases, etc. that I have completed, I am sorry to say that the Home Depot online purchase was the absolute worse. I literally spent hours on the phone attempting to correct Home Depot's shipment of an empty box. The item that I purchased was a 2-3 pound chair cushion for $56. I was given incredibly false information, for example, one woman told me that, in the United States, a 1 to 5 pound package could not be shipped anywhere in less than 5 to 9 days. I was so baffled by this statement that I actually asked her to repeat it (which she did). And there were a number of other, similar examples. I eventually despaired of using the phone and went to email. I would describe my situation in detail and specifically ask for help. In return, I would receive emails stating that Home Depot apologizes for any inconveniance and they hoped that everything would work out. Not one email offered help or even a "I will look into it". So, I eventually gave up.
After this experiance, I mentioned it to a few associates and friends. I was taken aback by what I heard. Several pointed out with passion that they would never use Home Depot internet sales ever again. The gist of what I heard was that Home Depot internet sales worked fine as long as the right package was sent and received on the first shot. BUT, if there was any type of glitch at all, it was then going to be a nightmare.
Well, that was my experiance.

What a mess. First, placing the order was a nightmare--the cart kept reverting to zero. THEN the order was suspended because there was a comma in the address line, which skewed the match with the credit card address. (Why did the site accept it that way?) THEN I received the wrong item. THEN after nearly an hour in phone call hell, I was told someone from shipping would contact me within 3 days. THEN nobody did. THEN I called again and went through same routine and asked for a supervisor. THEN I received the correct shipment but was BILLED again, with no shipping label to return the original shipment. THEN I was told that they don't DO that, I was to wait for UPS to contact me to pick UP the wrong order. Well, who among us can take time off work to wait for a delivery guy? If you live in a city and can't place it outside for pickup, you're SOL? I've wasted HOURS of my time on this, and have spoken to 6 different people, the last told me I've been credited--but I'm afraid to look...

The check out process was poor. I didn't even know the order had gone through and ended up place the order again by mistake. I also needed help with an installation question I refered to the website and that refered me to the store so I call and they told me to call a local electrian because he didn't know the answer. I then called the customer service # and they referred me back to the store. I did not get help from anyone from home depot they just kept handing me off to someone else. I thought the store slogan is "You can do it.. We can help" that is not true in my case.

Needed a new washer to replace one that was going to be too expensive to fix. Viewed the selections at a nearby Home Depot but ordered online to take advantage of the U Promise connection. Overall, the experience was quick, simple and painless. I would definitely use HD again for my next appliance purchase!

It took too long to get the order. The box had obviously been shipped before. This item was no doubt returned to Home Depot. It was not in new condition and was missing both the AC adapter and the DC adapter.
I asked to have a new item expidited to me. I ended up having to pay extra for the shipping to get it by the time I needed it. Because it took almost 48 hrs to before it shipped I still have not received it.
I will not purchase at Home Depot again. I get much better results with companies like Amazon.

interaction with home depot personnel over the phone was excellent. however, delivery personnel abrupt and unprofessional. the installer - was abrupt when responding to my concern about the dishwasher appearing to look like a cleansteel rather than stainless steel (we ordered stainless steel) stating it was stainless steel rather than taking a minute to look at the appliance and respond to my concern. (he was also on his cell phone the entire time-which sounded like personal calls to me. the second delivery employee "told" me to tip the original dishwasher ( the one that was replaced) onto his dolly. (with no expression on his face - as if i was supposed to help) - definitely not your typical home depot employee!
spoke with approximately seven (7)G.E./home depot customer service center employees before a phone number was given to me to set up an appt. for someone to come out to my home to look at the dishwasher door - which looked like clean steel and did not have the charateristics of stainles steel. I was given an appt for friday, sept 16th - between 8am-12noon. around 11am on the appt day, i hadn't heard from the service tech - so i called the service center again and spoke with nathan who told me the appt had been reschedule to tuesday, sept. 19th between 8am-12noon because a part had been ordered for the dischwasher. again, i was taken back by the fact that i had not been contacted by anyone to reschedule the appt. i have an answering machine and i am home during the day unless there is a doctor's appt, etc. i feel it necessary to report this to home depot to make it known that although the purchasing experience was delightful with all questions answered by your online telephone service center. --- the deilvery and customer service after purchase has been less than acceptable and a disappointment! i hope the problem with the dishwasher is resolved as soon as possible - so that i may put this not so pleasant experience by me.

Item arrived promptly, but damaged due to poor packaging (this is the second time, same item).The return process is slow and disorganized. Only after calling twice in one week and after speaking to a customer service supervisor the item was picked up by UPS. The supervisor was very helpful and took immediate action. I haven't received a credit for the return yet.

I would only shop with Home Depot again because we have an account with them and they have great financing offers. However, I would avoid using the web site. It is VERY misleading - saying the products will usually arrive in 5 to 7 business days. Usually to me implies that that is what occurs most of the time but if it doesn't arrive within 5 to 7 business days, it will be just a couple more days. WRONG! I placed my order on August 28th and it just arrived yesterday, September 14th. Absolutely ridiculous.
I will probably shop at Home Depot stores as I like the selection of products but other stores offer the same brands so I will probably try those first. And I will avoid purchasing on the Home Depot web site at all costs in the future and advise friends and family of my mishap and the run-around I got from the customer service representatives. I never received any compensation for my troubles and worst of all, your lousy representatives never even so much as apologized for the inconvenience. Just that I should have ordered earlier! Well, I thought 3 weeks was sufficient time to have all the items purchased here sooner!

Also now that we have recieived the generator and are using it we are not happy with its performance. It does not supply an even voltage and current. this causes us to constantly have to adjust power on the tools ebing operated from the compressor.
