I had tried 4 times to contact you via phone. The first 3 times I waited for more than an hour and had to hang up for other commitments. THe last try I waited for 2 hours and 10 minutes before someone finally picked up my call. If you cannot pick up in a decent amount of time you need to allow the website to handle returns. I will NEVER buy from you again.

The product I ordered on May 21st was not received until June 5th, 2006. I originally called the store near me and was told they did not have the item due to low demand. That is why I ordered over the internet.
Repeated phone calls to the customer service number were fruitless. I left my number on voice mail and never had a response. I then sent them an e-mail. Lo and behold the following day they sent the three items. The boxes were dented and torn. The baskets and trays were okay, except for some chipped paint and an unwelded spot. My husband fixed the weld spot with a pop rivet. I called the service
number to ask if they had paint kits available. I'm still waiting to hear from them.
Today, June 12th I received an e-mail telling me how to track my packages.
I would shop Home Depot again, but only in my local store
where I can talk face to face with the person.
The closetmaid products are very good and I wanted them. You gave me only a yes or no option about the condition of the item. Some were good and one was questionable.

I love the The Home Depot and have used their online ordering alot. Customer service was polite and tried, but I ultimately had to contact mfg on frig issue. Still waiting for mower to ship.

When I received my rug in the mail, it was horribly wrinkled and I'm still trying to get it flattened out. The one I bought in the store was not like this. Also, it is impossible to find things on the website. Not user friendly at all. I tried to find info on floor tiles (which I know are not sold on-line) and could find nothing at all. Lowe's is definitely a better experience on-line (with info on products not sold on-line)though they did not have what I wanted. Usually I'm a huge Home Depot fan.

After arriving 2 days later than posted, there is a huge dent on the door! The box used in the shipment was thin and should not be used to send appliances in. I have tried to call, however the wait time announced by the auto attendant is 60 minutes. That's ridiculous!!!!!! Obviously Home Depot.com is not capable of handling a large volume of customers. I highly doubt this review will receive any response or follow thru by them.

This was the most harrowing shopping experience ever!
The cushions I ordered were of poor quality: the cushions were so thin that you felt the strapping on my outdoor furniture. When I called the number for returns (required) I was on hold for forty five minutes the first day and two and a half HOURS the scond day. I was spoken to very rudely by one of the customer service agents before finally gettin a very helpful gentleman. Never again will I order online from Home Depot. I have even considered cancelling my Home Depot credit card.

They not only had the best price and selection for the item but they also offered free shipping. I ordered an item that weighed 37 pounds so I am sure the shipping charge was a huge savings. I received the product in five business days and it was in perfect condition. I would highly recommend HomeDepot.com to anyone, in fact I already have.

I tried to cancel my order but over holiday weekend they took no calls so I emailed their customer service. Rcvd automated reply that they would be in contact with me but they never were. 5 days later they shipped the order I cancelled via that email. Since their email didn't work (kept getting error message) I had to call- I sat on hold 2 hours and 15 minutes before someone finally answered. They agree to send a return for pickup. We'll see. At any rate they are very difficult to reach, by phone or email. Good luck to anyone who tries.

Hi, we ordered the range on line and the only problem we
had was choosing the color! We choose black and the model
when it arrived slid perfectly into place! We also choose
delivery and removal so not only did they bring us our new
one they hauled away the old one! The delivery guys were great, they arrived in the morning, unpacked the range, checked it out and did a quick run-thru on how to use it. Thank You!, Home Depot.

Answer to #7: I would shop here again only because the price is low. It took several phone calls with "on-hold" time of up to 64 minutes to resolve a problem with my ship versus mailing address to get Home Depot to release the order. I order from other sites frequently and no one else has the problem. Tracking status of the order online is virtually nonexistent. Overall, the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

Home Depoot told me 7-10 days shipping, and I would be contacted to schedule delivery. After 1 days I was still not contacted, so I contacted them. They said my shipment was delayed at the processing center and there was no estimated shipping date. When I asked why I was not contacted they said it wasn't their policy to contact the customers. Supposedly, I will be contacted by a supv tomorrow with more information. I am very disappointed. As a regular internet shopper, I will not be returning to homedepot.com.

I had to wait over the expected time limit for the shed to arrive as it came from a new england based freight company. I was told the item was locally in new york and it wasnt which caused me to take a day off of work to be home for the delivery. The box was damaged but i will say the delivery guy from the new england freight company was amazingly nice and helpful.
